Gotta be Kirklin trying to panic Kansas St coaching staff right?

You really think Nuss makes the opposition “panic”. Get a hold of yourself.

Almost nothing changes for him if he plays.

Next year is a redshirt year for him unless he blows up anyway. And if he blows up, it’s all a moot point.

Not a troll. It doesn’t make sense to not play.

Man up and burn that red-shirt, Nuss!

Is it just me or does Nuss seem like a kid that had personality to say fine f*** it ncaa, I’m playing, let’s roll?? I mean with transfer portal in place why not?? If you are that good you can go to the league early. Thoughts?

Not saying I agree with Nuss and his fam, but if Joey B doesn't red shirt he never has his 2019 season. You never know what might happen, hell look at Myles Brennan. Speaking of, I don't see him beating out Brennan at all. From the little I've seen of Nuss, he looks like a guy who needs a lot of development and is wildly inaccurate. Whether that development is at LSU or somewhere else is yet to be seen.

If i was him I would play, but I can understand the decision not to.

Since some of us don’t know how to interpret these tweets, wonder how Kansas State feels?

Then he can redshirt next year?

A lot less relevant now knowing at no point you may have to sit out to transfer

Nuss has probably helped Jontre in film sessions and practice. Probably just a shout out for the prep help and a nod to being an extra coach come game time.

Nuss wants to redshirt so he will have 4 years to play when he transfers

While I don’t think they are panicking, they have no idea who our QB will be or who exactly will be calling then plays.

Weird situation that should be taken advantage of.

I'm confused by all this, to be honest, it's not the first time in my life.

Because thats not a sure thing. Brennan could slip on a fishing trip and break his arm. Then Nuss has to play, loses his redshirt because he already blew his last chance on a meaningless Texas Bowl.
Your looking at it from a fans perspective. His dad is a former player and current QB'S coach for the Cowboys. He may know his son needs a lot of development, more than average and wants whats best for his son. Not what a bunch of fans want to see at the Texas Bowl.

I don’t see anything from a fan perspective. Which is why I can say That makes no sense, and none of this makes sense.

If Brennan gets hurt next year and he has to play, that’s great for him

As a QB, playing >>>>sitting

Personally I think he wants to play. I think it's his dad who is interfering. No way of proving that just a feeling. His dad did call O before the last game.

Convenient way to phrase it. Playing is always better than not playing. But is playing in one largely meaningless bowl game better than possibly playing another entire season. Which could be how his career turns out.

agreed

and how about for the benefit of the rest of his teammates sticking it out to the end, trying to win a game

how about for Deculus, he doesn't deserve to end his career with a win and a life long memory?

and how about for his receivers possibly getting hung out to dry by errant passes
