Ben Simmons is the ONLY student/athlete that's verified on Twitter. That's how big he is.

If quarterman can play next year like he did last year I think we can actually have a good team next year. We have some decent players but when he plays bad he just sucks the life out of the whole team.

Obvious troll is obvious.

No, he's right, until Simmons can prove that he can take over a game and make the other team his biyatch he's a candidate for POY in a league in Europe or Turkey in 2021

I don't think our fans understand the concept of limited practice hours in NCAA sports. You see it with football all the time, people bitch because players improve in the NFL and they bash the coaches. Well no shite players improve in the NFL. They are practicing more and are playing with the best of the best.

If he can make it through this miserable year at LSU, he'll be find. I can't remember the last elite player that went through such a relatively large amount of adversity as Simmons.

Randy Livingston comes to mind. #1 recruit in the country, suffers devastating knee injury prior to freshman season. Never fully recovered from that freak injury, though he lead the nation in assist as a RS freshman before destroying the knee once again. He lost out on what would have been a great college career, eventually played in the NBA but never able to fulfill his promise while virtually playing on one leg. Simmons hasn't faced anywhere near that type of adversity and hopefully he never does.
