Slot value is 3.3 million. Brewers have 6.6 million to spend. Should be interesting.

He's agreed to a deal. They wouldn't have picked him there otherwise

I wasn't. I was in college station with the Marshall family looking at property, but I do know how the MLB draft typically works.

Oh that’s cool. I hope the Marshall family found what they are looking for. Based on twitter the Brewers “think” he will sign. Let’s not forget Cabrera turned down a couple of million.

If he sticks to his number he is basically going to be eating half of their draft budget. It will depend on who else they draft. If they start going after low leverage guys you know they have a deal in place.

Cabrera's number was 2 mil

He didn't get drafted, b/c nobody was offering that

Turang was drafted. A number has been agreed upon

Well you just said he didn’t get drafted so I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you are probably wrong again.

He was drafted because a team thought they were going to be able to either talk him down or match his number. He didn’t get drafted so a team could waste a pick.

He was drafted in 26th round. LMAO

He was called and verbally offered less than his number by teams picking in early rounds

I assumed I was talking to people with a little more knowledge about how this works

No he turned down 2 million, it’s been stated numerous times that’s what he turned down.
