Not much rain yet, but it is getting the cement wet. Missing a dam good chance tho...

Nm, I lied, the frogs are drowning right now, crawfish coming out of the ground...like a cow pi$$ing on a very flat rock...

Thundering and heavy rain on Burbank @ E. Boyd.

I don't think it's going away any time soon.

It's dissipating. Play will resume in an hour to an hour and a half.

According to the weather.com:

"Expect occasional thunderstorms to end by Saturday at 8:30 pm"

However the hourly forecast is:

7 pm 65%
8 pm 35%
9 pm 0%

And it's different for different zip codes, i.e., 70808, 70820 and 70802

On ESPN3 they are still showing the field- that rain has now slacked off one bit...at this point, I wonder if Tulane-Lehigh will finish tonight, much less LSU...

The problem with this storm is its just not moving fast. Looks like it could easily pour for 2 more hours.

That Prius will float away.

I had a Sebring convertible that almost became a boat on Summa Avenue.
