Just a rough pill to swallow. Same with James Madison. With all the resources that we have and nothing to show for it.

It does suck on its surface, but it’s not really apples to apples with the conference auto bids
If LSU played in Tulane or JMU’s conference, LSU would probably be in the playoff as well. It just is what it is.

We lost to Ole miss by 5. Tulane got blown out badly and looked like a HS team against them. The whole idea of giving playoff spots to G5 teams is bullshite. We should be putting the best 12 teams in the damn thing

Silly post! I assume you passed Math 101. When you are ranked #20 by the CFP committee and there are only 12 teams that make the playoffs, you probably realize the Tulane did NOT earn their way in, right? The G5 were thrown a bone to agree to the playoff structure. To act like Tulane belongs in the field is

Tulane and any other non-Top 12 selections are tantamount to a DEI hire; they don’t deserve to be there.

I don’t much care for the NCAA but everyone wanted players to be compensated and an expanded playoff. They let the people have what they wanted. I personally like that players are getting paid.
