Auburn is so foolish. Tubby is a great coach. It is ashame there is no loyalty to a coach and such short memories for fans, hot shot alums, etc. I hope LSU is not following suit soon.

People...as you trash Les, please remember this; As good as Tubby is/was he had a losing record to Les and never won a BCS championship!!!! Stop the madness

They keep saying Will Muschamp...really? I think that's stupid, no way Muschamp walks away from one of the all-time great programs for that circus.

Considering the success that Tubbs had at Ole Miss, which at the time was on probation, had one of the 2 smallest stadiums in the conference, and about 15,000 season ticket holders, he would be a great hire for State. I think he would be more successful than most people in that job.

Tubberville is a plague-carrying sewer rat. Karma caught up to him. I'm truly sorry to hear another SEC school is apparently going to hire him, I actually liked Miss St. when Croom was given the thankless task of trying to build them up.

Tubby needs to hold out and not go to MOO. He is a good coach and anybody at Auburn has to scratch all over the southeast for players since they are a distant second to the Gumps in Bama. He was the best guy for Texas A*M and that didn't happen.

Don't have an undefeated season on your resume at Auburn unless you want to suffer an untimely departure.

Bowden and now Tuberville.

Ridiculous.

Bowden had to be fired.
Tuberville was a mistake to fire.

When all is said and done it is crazy to fire Tubberville. Short sighted

You have no idea what you are talking about. Lubbock has a population of a quarter million people. Auburn doesn't even compare to Lubbock.

Am I the only Tiger fan who seems to be a bit........sad or upset about this. Its like......Ali waking up and there is no Frazier to fight anymore.

Or if you are the rebels in Star Wars or Luke there is no Darth Vader to defeat.

Or....If you are Bird and the Celtics and there is no Magic and the Lakers to stand in your way.

Or....if you are Tiger Woods and you won 19 majors.....then what?

Right now I feel we lost probably our truest rival in Auburn. Out of all the teams and coaches LSU have faced in the SEC over the years......Auburn is the one team LSU sees when they look in the mirror and vice versa. With Tubbs gone,...no more.

I would go after Paul Johnson at GT. Auburn has always had good backs. They would be dangerous with that trip option.

Maybe Tubbs gets a call from Kansas State. Bill Snyder was called to resurect and is old as dirt so maybe they were buying time to land the right guy. K State could be a good gig although he has not personal ties in recruiting out there.
