It is hilarious. These folks have gone way, way off the deep end.

We’re absolutely in some deep shite if Burrow and Brennan both go down. But prettt much every team would be “season over” if both their #1 and #2 went down.

Even though LN is a better prospect than JM, I actually think the JM loss is a tad bigger given it gives us less wiggle room in terms of trying to get Brennan a redshirt this year.

Regardless, we’re fine... Burrow and Brennan are our QB’s for the next 3–4 years.

That’s not the point. We are talking about attrition at the QB position

A more pertinent question would be how many times has Saban gone into a season with only 2 quarterbacks.

Of the three, the wrong one transferred, IMO. So, whatever plan Orgeron had, it wasn't implemented perfectly. Bringing in Burrow made sense. This is the net affect.

Having said that, Narcisse just passed on the chance to be the clear backup. McMillan was out the door, and there were a lot of rumors about Brennan redshirting this year.

That means Narcisse was going to get his shot to play and secure his position as next starting QB. He walked away from that.

This is not a negative. The negative here for Les Miles was always coddling the feelings of incompetent qbs. Those days are gone. These 2 qbs, and hopefully JM ends up staying, are more than enough to lead this amazingly talented offense, and team.
