i also deny that Saban is the reason for any success of the entire athletic department.

They will never see the light. They just won't. It will take a disastrous season or two for them to even consider Miles departing a good thing.

Well this will be one. I could see us having a UF last year type season. Plus recruiting isn't going well at all this year. It's absurd how little talent we have in our front seven.

The difference in talent on the lines was obvious.
It's not about talent. This team has enormous talent. It's about experience and a solid, flexible game plan. Last night, we didn't have much in the way of either.

Without Saban bringing in the dollars with FB success, do we fire Smoke so quickly and pay top $ for a new coach? I don't know...

Does the athletic department make enough money without Saban's success to build new baseball facilities?

What I got out of this thread is that running tiger is a moron

Anyone who watched that and didn't think miles made numerous bad calls is blind

3rd and 22, throw it behind the Los
Just tried to run it in from the 1-2 yard line 4 times in a row, go for it on 4th down instead of taking the points
Unable to run the ball for shite, go for the two point conversion instead of the extra point

And I like miles. I don't want him fired but he really seems to play stupid sometimes. I'm no coach or former player but those just seemed like glaringly bad calls

Going for the two-point conversion was the right call.

not responding to you SFP just took this from your post

it's every 3 years because our young talent isn't developed, we have to we wait for the great class we get every 3 or 4 four years to mature into young men

Why is it this way for us and not that other team in the west that loses just as much as we do every year?

I'm lowering expectations a bit. I figured 9-3, 8-4 due to the QB situation but so far I don't see that happening. This is a 2008 defense paired with a 2010 offense.

What other team? That other team doesn't exist in the world of the sunshine pumper. That week is a bye week, and we were the best team in the nation in 2011.
