Many threads here predicting (with facts) that a Junior/Senior QB will be key to a championship run.

Brandon Harris will most likely be here the next two seasons.

LF7 will be here for at least one of the next two.

Guice will be here the next two seasons.

Dural will be here for at least one of the next two.

I am thinking the whole coaching change fiasco will have woken Miles up from his slumber. He was out of fresh ideas and was takings things for granted. I think what happened this past month will probably spark some fire in him to try to win at least one more NC here before he is done.

The timing of his almost firing and the team maturing at the same time will lead to some exciting LSU football late into the playoffs the next two years...IMHO.

False as well. We can't win the West if we don't change.

I think Pocic and Beckwith coming back would go a looming way next year.

Beckwith is too good at a position too thin to lose. Pocic would be huge for continuity on the Oline.

We had major contrinbutions for a lot of underclassmen

When you look at the number of Freshmen and Sophomore that made major contributions last year it is impressive

Fournette, Harris, Dupre, Johnson, Clapp, Teuheme, Weathersby, Guice, Williams, Brosette on offense

Tolliver, Jackson, Key, Godchaux, Adams, on defense.

The biggest concerns on defense are LB and DT

We return will likely return every DT, and add a few Really talented ones as Freshmen for even more depth.

LB is a big concern. If beck with leaves we are just incredibly then.

False. Prob don't get there next year. Les is forced out. New Coach comes in and takes a bit to implement system.

It would be an absolute travesty to not make it next year with Fournette. Unfortunately, I think our 07 team was the best Miles has had and they needed a tremendous stroke of luck to make the championship, while '11 is in second place and they got embarrassed on the big stage. I don't doubt our ability to win it all but I doubt us taking care of business in order to be in that position. I would love to be proven wrong though.

So i regrettably vote false.

I'd say even if a new coach comes in, we still could win a NC under the first year coach given the talent that is on this team. A new scheme that better utilizes the talents at the skill position maybe what this team needs.

False we've recruited like shite at LB and D-line over the last couple years.....can't win with a weak front 7 and a underwhelming offense.

We have the horses to win next year. If we get Beckwith back and Harris makes strides to up his game then it should be a certainty. The question is what if we don't make the playoffs next year? Next year is the best shot we have had since 2011. We have Bama, who will have lost some coaches and a lot of talent and Ole Miss, losing a lot of talent as well, at home. Auburn is in shambles, Arkansas loses their senior QB, MSU loses Dak. We return pretty much our entire team except maybe a few. We retain our coaching staff for better or for worse. Next year is truly it, make or break. I hope we make it.

False.
CLM is not slumbering, IMHO it's just the way he coaches/manages the team!
