That is basic High School technique are you trying to tell me he said Al let the shorter guards and centers get under you. I think and I repeat this is just my opinion, that he lacked lower body strength compared to his upper body, becuase I seem to remember he did well in the bench press at the combine.

he was in the low 20s

a 2-gap DT should be in the 30s

What kind of coaching experience do you have to make these proclamations? Or is this just another example of pulling something out of your arse?

coaching: he wasn't coached technique until his senior year

This is obvious. The whole team suffers from this. I wonder what goes on in practice. Is it worth $3.7 mill?

A lot more things could go into this situation. When he played he played on two of the more softer defenses we have had since 2000. We might as well go down the list of every 5 star that doesnt pan out and say going to said school was the biggest mistake of their life. People completely forget the other things a player could get from a university other than playing football.

There are many : 5 star recruits that don't do well in college Who comes up with these random ratings. How many people that win the Heisman are flops at the next level. WHY???????

SFP's great at bashing LSU then saying he never actually said anything. It doesn't matter what he implies his best comeback is.. "who said that"?.

My answer is False and please give the LSU bashing a break. Must suck to be so bitter, did Les fondle your woman or something?

Okay thinks for that informatin and that is what I have thought about him all along. For his size he is weak and not able to use his bulk to keep shorter stronger players form getting under him. That is hard for a coach to over come. If his work ethic in the weight room is not good he is screwed. Is it the coaches not getting on there arse to get them motivated I don't know maybe it's some of both, but to put it squarley on coaching in my opinion is wrong.

Well either Miles and staff aren't good at evaluating talent or they can't develop the talent. Which is it? He gets accolades for bringing in great recruiting classes then, its the players fault for not being athletic or dedicated enough to play the game.

He is a shite stirrer making 2500 post a month.

Coming here is the highlight of his day. Poor guy probably doesn't have a friend in the world other than a few other shite stirrers here.

When you have nothing better to do than post 2500 times a month, life has to suck.

I dont know why everyone's jumping on SFP. It's rightful criticism. Al Woods was a legit NT prospect, and LSU failed to capitalize on that. Mainly because of the scheme, we prefer two one gappers instead of a one gapper and a two gapper.

See that's the trap, SFP didn't say that. He didn't say anything, just implied LSU sucks or the coach sucks or whatever. Then if you try and call him on it he just says, "who said that?"

True. Not that LSU is bad coaching, but either you adjust your scheme to the talent you recruited or recruit only talent that fits your scheme. Plain and simple.

This has always been my criticism of Miles' recruiting tactics. They get highly rated players and then try to make them something they aren't and force square pegs into round holes.

Those square pegs were good enough to smash Ohio St and win a NC. He hasn't had any problem adjusting schemes during 4 yrs of national rankings or beating the crap out of 4 bowls teams in 5 yrs.

You guys are so full of shite it must come out of every orifice you have.
