Woods is like 6'4". IMO that is one of his biggest problems.

woods was a very, very highly touted/recruited kid

and he would have fit at UT at the time, but would have had similar problems once they got muschamp

at the time of his recruitment, UT used to use monster DTs like frank okam (who was 350+ if memory serves)

UM at the time used the monster DT tandems also. don't know if UM recruited him

I think his lack of inensity was his biggest issue. He just wasn't very mean for a big d-lineman.

I think it's a little bit of AW being soft and not doing enough to get better.....

And LSU not developing him or finding a spot for him to contribute that best suites his strengths

I think this was his biggest problem. with his size you'd think that he would've been able to make a play on sheer physical talent every once in a while.

I don't recall him doing anything l8ike that.

False..... He had a bad habbit of not getting his pads low enough. Since I was not at practice just like you were not at practice, ( so I don't know how you can spout out your opinions like they are the facts ) I will however go out on a limb and say the coaches did not say Al let everyone get under and push you off the ball. I've watched plenty of football over the years but I'm sure it's nothing to the over 100,000 post you have as a depth of knowledge concerning the LSU football program or just football knowledge in general. Just how long do you stay in front the computer to rack up a number like that.

Word on the streets is that most LSU players are lazy once drafted into the NFL. Hopefully Al Woods isn't. The Chiefs are big time dissapointed in Dorsey and Jackson.

The red flags on Woods started going up before he even got it. Went to San Antonio for the Army game and got his arse handed to him all week. All the Rivals guys at the game commented on how they messed up and had Woods as the #1 DT ahead of McCoy, when McCoy blew him out of the water.

To say Dorsey being lazy is the problem just goes to show how blind some writers in KC are. Amazing how every player they acquire out there goes to shite. Wonder if it's lack of effort on the players' parts out there or lack of something else.

basically LSU tried to put a square peg in a round hole and in the process made woods an ineffective player scheme-wise. on top of that, he was not coached in technique nor developed properly for his natural playing style.

Do you have any kind of proof of these claims? Beside your "learned" opinion, of course. Like I thought, yet another case of SFP pulling things out of his arse.
