Texas A&M we threw it early and often and it killed our offense. Fact is, BH sucked over that stretch. The game was close against Bama before he threw that pick

But i always seems to me like when they come out throwing is when they have problems.

7/12 1st qtr plays vs Ark were pass- 2/5 16yds and 2 sacks -10yds.
Harris had 1 good series 2nd qtr with like 8 straight compl on the 1st TD drive, but Arky adjusted.

False. No amount of throwing the ball at any time of the game would help when we have no QB who can throw and no OL who can protect him even if he could.

Throwing the ball a lot was a bad idea. Throws and completions are two different things

False. Pass plays were called. Line and QB consistently did not execute.

False if you are talking about wins and losses.

True if you are making the point that throwing it more early May have assisted in the development of the passing game.

But it's pretty clear that THIS team's best chance to win was to rely heavily on the running game.

It's a combination of several issues and Miles offensive rankings for his 11 year tenure is all the facts you need.

Poor communication on the sideline causing plays to be transferred to QB late.

One of the most penalized teams in college football every year.

Not being a step ahead with the understanding of down and distance, time on the clock, what your offense and defense has done through out the game etc.....

Having a power run team and getting cute on first and goal when that is one of the biggest advantages to having a power run team.

Having a rout branch that does not fork

LSU has more than just a QB, OC or scheme problem, its hard to get in any kind of rhythm and the plays really do not set up anything, the opposing teams defense is never on their toes.

probably already stated, but my issue isn't the number of throws we make a game. its the timing in which we throw, and then the lack of creativity when we throw it. go routes or nothing else, on obvious passing downs most of the time. rarely a creative throw on 1st down to get harris into a rhythm.....when we did that against ole miss, we moved the ball. when we did it against bama, we moved the ball. but as soon as we tighten the gap, we are back to the I formation and 2 runs up the gut and 3rd and long. and no, i don't have any facts to back this up...it just appears like this most games we can't run the ball.
