What? Cherry pick stats to fit an agenda?

That’s all you do
Specifically on Canada you constantly said he was the only offensive coach that was a Broyles Award finalist with the important qualifier that was 2016. The 2014 and 15 Broyles winners were OCs in fact I think 11 of 21 were OCs so Say the only without specifying the year or last year is text book cherry picking.

A disaster? I had and still have no problem what-so-ever with Matt Canada. I thought he was a great hire especially since it was Dave Aranda who recommended him. If a DC doesn't know who a good OC is, then there is a problem.

Coach O is a career DL coach with a questionable resume. He replaced a coach that won a lot of games but who’s offense stagnated and was awful.
Hiring an OC was (is) far and away the most important hire for Orgeron given those circumstances. That he’s firing him a year later and not because his offense was terrible or for cause (ie sexual harassment) is most definitely a disaster.

Sometimes people don't get along

Yes but professionals find a way to make it work for a little while anyway or at least more than a few months. Mike Ditka and Buddy Ryan HATED each other but made it work for a couple of years, enough to win a SB.

Who would you have hired after Kiffin got a HC job?

I never thought Kiffin was anything but Tug Boat Felon propaganda but I was OK with Canada, i don’t remember who else available tbh. and it doesn’t matter now. I didn’t have a problem with the offense this year at all especially Given the Qb and thin OL. To now have to bring in another and install a 3rd offense in as many years is a huge set back no matter how you want to spin it.

The Clock game. Miles had trouble with clock management at various times in his career. It bit him again on Saturday at Auburn and it eventually cost him his job. LSU let precious time slip away in the final minute at Auburn."

"Penn State vs. LSU in the Florida Citrus Bowl, Joe Paterno vs. Les Miles, Class vs. Crazy. In that game, Les Miles shows why it's obvious he flunked Clock Management 101 in coach's school. Can at least one assistant coach please sit down and help Les Miles understand this area of coaching?""

The Auburn game he should have won. The refs fricked up and ran multiple extra seconds off. It was a screw job.

Penn game, sloppy game, some bs no calls near the end.

His def stand out to us, but I see bad clock management all the time, college and NFL.

You know opinions can be facts right?

What tha frick.
Let me explain with help from the University of new york via google.

A fact is a statement that can be proven true or false. An opinion is an expression of a person's feelings that cannot be proven. Opinions can be based on facts or emotions and sometimes they are meant to deliberately mislead others. Therefore, it is important to be aware of the author's purpose and choice of language.

Point is OP posted factual opinions not facts. Theres a difference

Well damn, since USC passed on O, all the other schools that wanted him as HC must have jumped at the chance to hire him!!!

Just like we lost to a crappy Florida team last year at home. I thought for sure O was done after that. But Joe came to the rescue!

Then lost by 30 to a 9 win Miss St team, and lost to Troy at home this year. Let's not forget escaping a loss to a 4 win UF team, and losing to Bama by 2 TDs.

I hope he does too. I hope he wins every game he coaches at LSU. Doesn’t mean we can’t call out our incompetent AD and horrible decisions and PR by Ed O.
