Tallahassee is in the western edge of the cone. If that thing comes in at a three anywhere close, it will be a distraction. Not to mention, a lot of those kids’ families are in the cone.

You are correct, sir. Regardless of the actual landfall spot, it will be past the Orlando area by Thursday at the latest.

National Hurricane Center now has a track on it and it should be offshore of New Jersey by Wednesday evening.

Now predicted to be a Cat 3 hurricane at landfall. The game WILL BE affected. Orlando will most likely be without power for a week or more

Not even close unless the track changes. Jeez. A week? No, not from a Cat 3 that makes landfall 130 miles to the northwest.

FPL is pretty good at this. I doubt Orlando has any widespread power outages. My son is a student at UCF and they aren’t even planning on canceling classes at this point.

It's still on the worse side of the storm, and most likely will shift more east, they always do

Hurricane Ian was a hell of a lot stronger and went through Orlando pretty directly after landfall in Ft. Myers last year, and they werent out of power a week.

Florida is not Louisiana. Better infrastructure among other things.

Yep isn't this one supposed to go alittle further north than Ian? I know Orlando had alot of flooding from that storm. Rman hope all is well. I know the usual suspects out here will flood like St.Augustine and around the river.

Regardless of whether or not it affects the game, it’s pretty crazy how often LSU games have to deal with a hurricanes on a yearly basis. It seems like it’s always our games that are having to watch the Hurricane tracks and plan around it. Even when we don’t play in our state.

Dude all you’ve done in these threads is talking about dudes in dresses and the catastrophic end of Orlando.

I know we are all thinking about those Florida residents and praying for the best. In regards to football:

1. Odds this game is postponed?
2. Odds it is moved? If so, where?

Nola, Baton Rouge, etc.

Every storm is different, but Hurricane Laura was a borderline Cat 5 and people 50 miles east, the bad side, did not lose power.

It's moving through Orlando on Wednesday. I think we're fine.

On the outside shot that game is impacted, it would more than likely just be canceled.

New Orleans not an option due to Saints/Garth Brooks.

Tallahassee not an option due to hurricane.

Baton Rouge not an option because it would never be agreed to by FSU.

They could always move it down to Miami IF it comes to that. I don't believe it will though. We'll have a better idea tomorrow on the path.
