Wow, so in year 2 at Alabama, all of the talent is Saban's, but in year 3 at LSU, all of the talent is also Saban's.

Your passing offense is better than ours because we're not down by 20 points to Georgia, Florida, and Troy passing the ball like Texas Tech trying to get back into it. We don't get down on the ground and get beat like you guys do. We have a more balanced offense because we've stayed in games.

You want to compare Jevan Snead and Jarrett Lee? Fine. Go ahead and tell me why Jarrett Lee is better than Jevan Snead.

Most of the older kids were Nick Saban's talent... Yes, that is true

Alabama is using a multitude of freshmen that Nick Saban recruited and they're winning with it. Not to mention, Nick Saban is coaching lesser talent of Mike Shula's and winning with it too. Only Nick Saban could make the awful JP Wilson play the way he has thus far.

Please come back when you actually win something meaningful. Vandy has a more successful sports program than Ole Miss. And your school is tied with your in-state rivals as the worst in the conference. You really have nothing going for you. Bet that feels good.

PharmacyReb, Let's be realistic. Ole Miss has done absolutely ZERO to be proud of since 1970, the last time they made a major bowl game. A record of 203-203-4 over the last 36 years. You have a team this year that is better than usual for Ole Miss and we are worse than usual for LSU. It will be a good game but I think you need to stay out of the Scedule II narcotics cabinet before you start listing all of these examples.

When you think about it, it makes a lot more sense than the "boot" trophy they conjured up several years ago. LSU-Ole Miss is a rivalry with some history behind it.

Doesn't mean they should start giving a trophy, but "The Boot" trophy is worse.

I will guarantee you that this is a false statement.

hmm... If by tied you mean head and shoulders above, then yes. Where's SC? or Kentucky?

*cough* Football *cough* Basketball*cough* Baseball *cough* Tennis *cough* Golf. *cough* Track. Why don't you wait around and see how many of those have losing records this year.

Like I said, you can post our record over the last 36 years and try to make some sort of comparison out of it.

I could post your record from the 1990's and talk about how insignificant you were then, and it wouldn't matter.

What matters is 2008. The fact of the matter is your team is poorly undercoached with a lot of talent. Your program is in a Gerry DiNardo type of situation with Les Miles in the lead.

Don't try to act all high and mighty now. Congrats on the Crystal Balls. But back to 2008 and reality... your team is on a sharp decline and to say otherwise is just absolute denial.

Reality isn't always easy, especially when you're a blind, acquiescent Corndog such as yourselves.

and most people, after RP was dismissed, said this team would lose 2-4 games this year... and they were right!!! we've got a fresheman QB that WILL get better.

Like it's been said before, we're having a down year and we'll still end up in a New Year's Day bowl.. A new year's day bowl for ole miss would be a GREAT season... and 5 years from now it still would be a GREAT season for yall...

our goals are just a little different. our goal is to compete for the NC every year. so we fall a little short this year.. Still probably will end up the year with 9 or 10 wins....

They have more SEC championships than you in all sports.
And Ole Miss is a crap academic school as well. Doesn't it take about a 2.0 to get in? Face it, you guys suck at everything except for your hot women and guys dressing like choads.

Yes I know, eloquence is second nature to me

As long as conventional wisdom and ESPN tells LSU they're a top contender, they'll think it.

But it won't be long before Les "Gerry DiNardo 2" Miles takes LSU back to the 1990's.

Not sure what "choads" are but it was a nice attempt at grammar

Our guys that dress like "choads" are also good at dictionaries. We've got that going for us.

Forbes doesn't seem to think so. I've heard number 23 public university in the Nation is actually a pretty good stat. Where was LSU on that list? They weren't. I'm not trying to say that Ole Miss is a better school than LSU, I'm just saying you should be wiser when choosing your battles.

There's no real use in arguing academics or rankings with a bunch of people that sit on a computer all day typing on a message board. These are usually the people that Bobby Jindal is having to dish out food stamps and cash to

Sneed is not a great quarterback. Average would be a better statement for him. But we can't relax. We went to Oxford Saturday and watched Ole Miss humiliate ULM, who beat Troy. Ole Miss is loaded with Nutt type players. Don't know where he finds these guys, but LSU better bring it's "A" game. They played fundamentally sound football, made no mistakes. They are for real. We watched them walk down their "Walk of Champions" and they are a nasty looking bunch. They wore Nike fleece warmups and most of them hadn't been washed in a week. I'm serious, you could tell what their pregame meal was by just looking at the front of their hoodies. Kinda shocked by their appearance. Thought Ole Miss was more "preppy" than what we saw.
