Les was just discussing about how TH will be back because he won't be going to the Olympics and he mentioned that he will definitely consider him to "return kicks and punts"

very interesting...

If he can return kicks like he does on NCAA 09 I'm all for it.

I would love to see that. But returning punts is an entirely different animal. And I can only assume that he has had problems, since we've never seen out there. If we see him in a game, my prediction is that he will be on a very short leash. Let just one punt bounce off his chest, and YANK. Look what Miles did to KW in the spring game.

in 2006 Les put him out there in the season opener against ULL, and he muffed a few punts from what I remember and consequently he put back a new punt returner (Chevis Jackson I believe)

They have always wanted him returning punts, but he isn't reliable enough.

Holliday catching a punt is like a regular sized guy catching a duffel bag full of math books.

Ya'll might want to keep an eye on the new Special Teams coach. Joe Rob is a great hire.

The only scary thing about TH returning punts, is his ability to hang on to the ball if he gets nailed by some 220 pound bricklayer. That is my big question for him doing punts.

If we use the same stadegy as we did MOST of the time last year all he will need to do a) fair catch it or b) let it roll till opposing team downs it...

Don't quote me, but I think Keiland had a little injury on the play he fumbled, and they kept him out the rest of the game since there was no reason to risk it. It was really minor though, like a sprain.

Agreed. The thought of him returning punts scares me.
