Sullivan
Anderson
Davis
Johnson
Dillion
Ferguson
Dupre
Quinn
Chark

That is our last 3 signing classes at WR. all of thsoe guys are 4 or 5 stars except Chark. Unreal.

You are a racist POS. They guy ran a 10.93 100m. He was an athletic freak that was one of the top athletes on the entire team.

He is 5'11" with short arms. Bad fit for this offense in which we have no ability to develop accuracy.

Athletic ability at this level is more than straight line speed. Athletic ability encompasses speed, height, length, hands, lateral speed, stopping ability and on and on.

Yeah he was one of the more athletic guys on the team, and that's saying something.

I don't think the drops are why he was passed up. He had a tough time getting out of jams at the line for whatever reason. He isn't a weak guy though. Maybe the short arms had something to do with it.

Hell of an athlete though, that is absolutely ignorant to suggest otherwise. Very fast, has a big time vertical, and was a multi-sport stud most of his life.

I guess LSU thinks he is much better than some of the ranters. We let that DB transfer to Bama.

Um, why the frick would we let him go somewhere where we'd have to play against him?

Exactly, Quinn is very talented, we do not want to play against him. He wasnt considering any SEC schools though anyways.

We've released players to Alabama before, but we werent worried about playing against them

I don't agree.

There is size and there is athletic ability. He had one, not the other.

The truly elites are great in both categories usually.

Did you measure his wingspan or something? He is a legit 6'0 (measured at that at events) and has blazxing speed and very good overall athleticism.

No sir, he may not possess the size wanted, but that is not "athletic ability". I would bet that he was one of the MOST athletic overall WR's on the team DESPITE his lack of size.

Here is an example, was Trindon EVER considered not athletic? He was the very definition of an explosive athlete. Hell, he was 5'5" and could dunk all over your arse. Is he not athletic????

I really think his inability to get off the jam at the line is his main issue. He could never get into his routes on rhythm with the QB.

Why announce so late? Guess he wasn't sure? Wanted to finish the semester?

I imagine all transfers will finish out the semester here then transfer for summer. So in all honesty, this is kind of early. Dont think they can up and quit mid semester and enroll somewhere else.

Look, he got passed up on the depth chart

end of story. Best of luck to him.

Arguing over him on a message board isn't going to change anything

The NFL is the ultimate arbiter of this and the trend for years in the NFL is large bodied receivers because there is more room for error.

Give me a 6'3" 200 lb'er with hands and a 4.55 over 5'11" 190 lb'er with hands and a 4.4 all day.

You guys think Quinn was going to play ahead of Drake Davis or Stephen Sullivan? Who would you rather use against Bama's 6'+ CBs?

Did anyone else think that he looked just way to bulked up this past year? His legs looked massive and he did indeed look like he was hitting the iron big time.

Man, you're completely missing my point.

Athleticism =/= size.

They are both usually desired in one package though.
