It's not end of the world. With just avg qb pass play he'll leave here as one of the best.

Yep not the end of the world, but I don't know about leaving as one of the best just yet.

Martin, Landry, Reed, Doucet, Davis, Beckham, LaFell, Davis, Clayton, Bowe, Moss, Henderson.

Out of these, you could make a top 10. Just looking at Dupre, I'm almost ready to say he will be, but we'll have to see improvement from him and Quinn like we did from Landry and Beckham. Dupre needs to get stronger and better his route running. Quinn needs to catch the easy passes (he can make some tough ones), and yes I know the QB play is not making it easy.

If Quinn can get that improvement, he will be one of the greats, but you and Lester already claiming that this early, need to hold your horses.

best overall route runner and most dangerous receiver we have after the catch,
Doesn't mean a thing if you can't catch the ball

I'm still baffled by this board's love of Trey Quinn. I think he'll be a good player, but right now its pretty obvious he's our 4th best receiver.

He's white.

So who are the ones that are actually obsessed with his skin color and bring it up non-stop on this board? I think the answer is obvious. Maybe one day we can finally get past all of this, but not if you continue to constantly make it an issue.

No I'm not his dad. But I am tired of people on this board writing kids off and saying they have "brick hands" after a true freshman season that had some expected drops. The same thing happened with Jarvis, OBJ, LaFell, and Doucet and people ate their words.

He has the potential is my point.
I'm not big on labeling fresh players 6 heismans and stuff.

I bet Quinn kicking himself in the butt for not going to Clemson that had a decent QB. Quinn was recruited before Artavis Scott and Scott had 68 receptions for 851 and 7 TD's. Quinn had 17-193 0 TD's. Hopefully next year will be better.

Im sure jimmy graham thinks quin drops way too many passes too especially since he gets soooo many passes thrown his way!

You guys are idiots! Trey Quin is an exceptional talent on this squad and I can remember Russell Shepard dropping waaaaaay more passes before fans finally began pulling the plug!!

He's our Wes Welker. He had the 2 big 3rd down drops vs bama and was out of there for a bit.
1 missed field goal and the kicker gets sat down. Jennings screws up most of the time , never gets pulled.
the faith and loyalty Les has in his guys, I respect, but Jennings should be pulled as quickly also . Just my opinion.

Trey Quinn will be fine.He will become an outstanding receiver before he finishes his career at LSU. People seem to forget Odell Beckham's dropped passes early in his career.

Has it been mentioned that the kid owns national high school receiving records for receiving yards and catches? So as to this boards "love" of him, we tend to do that with highly touted young players.

God forbid we expect him to go out and execute.

Kentucky hit happened to him. He wasn't right after that sinus reliever.
