The kid needs to trash the "cool" welding gloves he wears. If he wears em to catch passes, he must have hands of stone without them.

Why does that play hurt people? We punted on the next play and then they fumbled and we got the ball on the 3 yard line

So you don't think TQ8 dropping the passes was a significant change in momentum for us?

being a capable blocker would give him more PT.

I know the big cat drill is not a drill for run blocking, but his matchup with Mills

Can't wait for him to shut people up this year.

To be fair we could've scored on that drive had he caught it. And at the point we would've had all the momentum and the game in the bag.

It's just symbolic of all the coulda woulda shouldas vs. Bama the last several years. The screen to Yeldon, Copeland's fumble, the BS personal foul on Vadal... I remember being in the stadium cringing when he dropped those (since I did not have the benefit of knowing we'd later get a fumble). Just brings back bad memories of choking vs. Bama

I have a feeling he will emerge as our best receiver late in the season. Even over Dural and Dupre. Bold I know, but the kids forreal. Just wait on it

So he's been crowned the offseason grinder? Mkay.

I've noticed we've started to do this annual during the offseason. Last year it was Terrence Mcgee.

It was at the time and I was pissed. But now I realize it was a huge blessing so it isnt painful at all

Nailed it. LSU finds ways to give the game to Alabama.

How exactly is it a blessing?

Are we going to go the moral victory route and say this will make TQ8 work harder and better? Because LSU FB should be light years beyond moral victories.

No. It was a blessing because due to the drop we were on the 3 yard line with the ball only two plays later

Last year wasn't it Avery Peterson or Leslie or some other WR?

Like TQ but Tyron johnson will take his slot spot.

He's too good to keep off the field

It could have been a WR. But I vividly remember multiple threads popping up about how the Fournette hype was going overboard and that we were forgetting about Terrence Mcgee

What exactly does this have to do with my hoping/expecting Quinn to shut up a lot of people this season?

Well, they weren't wrong. The majority of this board was expecting him to have 1500+ yards and 15 TDs. Hell, there are still people that say he was overrated because he didn't achieve those things.
