Our boosters should have probably done anything and everything to get this swept up quicker considering the state of our running back room
Unless Holly has been working out on his own time, can’t see how he would be ready to contribute until much later in the season.

I don’t think he is. Anybody thinking he’s the solution to the run game are fooling themselves. If he’s cleared, I’d be happy to have him for depth later on in the season. But he’s not gonna come in and immediately take snaps away from our top 3.
But, he redshirted last year, so no reason to “save” him if he is able to add something at whatever point that might be.

Once he's fully back he's a lot more than depth. He's a break-away runner not due to elite speed but elite balance. They did run him to death in HS so we really haven't seen him at him at full strength but you don't break Fournette's record by luck.

I guess the question is did he actually try and kill someone…. If he did he should go to prison and never play football again. If it was self defense then he should be cleared and allowed to play.

He claimed he wasn't even there. That's either a damned strong statement or a damned stupid statement because it takes self defense right off the table

Talked to some people out of Union Parish and they have no evidence that Holly was shooting , he was there but witnesses said he in particular never brandished a weapon.

He would’ve been the top 3 back in rotation if not this happened so he could .
