So in the game of the century, you decided not to play your best? That's pretty dumb if you ask me. Quitter.

then they don't deserve a rematch for not giving the #1 team their best shot...at home.

The only time I knew he was on the field is when he was throwing a game changing pick on the goalline. And I really hope that it's not your coach who is filling your head with that nonsense because he wasn't even the best coach on the field that night, the HAT was. And as far as your rematch, you didn't earn that either. You couldn't beat them in your house so you don't deserve the right to face them on a neutral field."

right...so if you can't give your best shot in a #1 vs #2 match at home, you'll give one in the National Championship game.

My fault. I was wrong.

Game of the century...at home...moved to primetime...biggest recruiting weekend of the year

...and Alabama's making the case that they didn't give LSU their best?

Oklahoma State laid an egg. They were caught sleeping. They didn't give their best in their loss.

Alabama knew what was up...had every single intangible advantage on their side and were beaten.

These are the kind of stories that could come out and start a movement against Alabama. Alabama should just lay low for the next 3 days.

guy is a good back but definitely overhyped

Don't let your hatred of all things Bama blind you. TR is a great RB. The only backs I would put in his class this year are Ball from Wisconsin and possibly Wilson from VT. TR is saying what anyone would say in his situation and lobbying for a berth in the NCG.

At home against the #1 team with everything on the line. If Bama didn't give it their best shot it's nobody's fault but their own. No excuses.

I don't think that was the point. It's not about playing your best. There were opportunities on both sides that were left unexploited.

LSU didn't give Bama their best shot IMO. It was known before the game that Bama's weakness was on their edges, and LSU failed to take advantage of this until late. Richardson, while making a plea for the ship also probably realizes there were opportunities missed on both sides, not just his.

Why doest he media and these players assume LSU gave them their best shot? LSU did have turnovers that allowed bama to score.

Why did they not give LSU their best shot? I guess little nicky is not the motivator he is claimed to be.

my question is what was stopping them from giving us their "best shot" at home off bye no excuse to not give best shot. Not LSU's fault Bama quivered in the spot light
