Inconsistent player with a lot of highs & lows. More lows, but his highs standout because he had some flash.

Think you're being unfair with that...

I don't recall him ever being bad; he just dropped off to "average" at times. Dude was never an actual liability. And then, when he was able to crank it up, he abused some pretty damn good players.

Was really poor in sec play as a freshman

And his Soph year is basically defined by poor 10g stretch, a 10g Superman stretch, then another poor 10g stretch

Inconsistent 3pt shooter. Poor shot taker & decision maker

His highs were really strong & carries his perception with fans, which is why I always get shite

I rode him pretty hard. I got shite. Will Wade benches him in Dec18’

I said he’d have to change his game to be effective in the nba. More of a pass first backup PG. After the Celtics added Stevens basically repeated the same things I said.

That was a pretty awesome highlight video. Just like in college, he is impossible to stay in front of and keep out of the lane.

Yep, I remember watching that Michigan St. game and we'd try to get Smart going and/or Naz going and it wasn't happening, but they could not stay in front of Smart that game. They should have just let him go and drive shoot or dish. Spartans had no answer for him defensively. What did he get? 25 that game?
