Tremont is a turnover machine who takes inefficient shots on a team that is offensively efficient.

I hate to pile on the young man but he sure didn't help us last night! Bad 3 pt shots and terrible TO's. Sloppy sloppy ball handling that killed us!

And to think Waters are considering going Pro , and he shouldn't even be starting on LSU's team. BENCH HIM NOW .

He’s trying to do too much when his M.O. right now should be to facilitate and pick his spots within the flow of the offense. It doesn’t help that no one on this team wants to go to work down low. Last night we should have used Days and Emmitt to post up smaller defenders but they’re not exploiting those opportunities. Too many guys trying to make plays from the wings. I want to see Smart running the team a little more. This team looks great on paper but im starting to fear we have too many similar pieces. I’d fricking kill to have Duop Reath on this team—that says a lot. Pro teams will want Naz to be a formidable post presence, not chucking contested 18 foot fadeaways.Waters’ struggles affecting his leadership too. This team might be undefeated with Darrel Mitchell at the point.

I feel like I said this about 100 times last night, but it's a real misconception that Waters was "great" last year. He had some excellent moments, but in general he wasn't very good. He had a good assist and steal average, but those were kind of offset by a high turnover average as well. Not to mention he's a liability defensively.

fred (I know his name is really dorothy) valentine is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!!! ref in the history of the college game. every time I see that asshat call a game, it makes me sick to my stomach. to borrow the line from rush "don't doubt me when I tell you:" ZERO coaches approve of the job fred does. he can't be fired though, because he's reffed forever, and ya know, the color thing. absolute garbage!!!!

Agree about the officials. What is it with Texas and officiating?

horrible refs ... but horrible for both sides.
Have they never "refed" in a hard fought game?...
calling fouls like in a bad high school game.

The kid made a few hero plays last year and fans thought he was trey young. He's very average and sometimes below.

He needs to set up the offense and distribute

Before we know it, you’ll be trashing LSU greats like OBJ.

Waters issues don’t necessarily come from lack of ability, but poor decision making. He’s trying to do to much off the dribble and it’s forcing him into risky passes (or he’s trying to make the flashy play. As for his shooting, he’s taking too deep of 3pt attempts too early in the shot clock. He reminds me of Andre Stringer in that regard. Once Stringer started taking better 3s his % shot up.

I didn't "trash" OBJ at LSU. I trashed him over his attitude watching him play HS basketball.
