Please. You with your "Deal with it" photo. What are you, 12? Oh yeah, that's what I want my Tigers to be, the Miami of the 2010's. No thanks.

but taunting is lack of character..and it will cost us with penalties sooner or later.

You seriously have no faith in Les Miles, his coaching staff and these players to know this? Chill the frick out people.

This 1000%. I'm tired of the mugging, the arrogance, the childish "look at me" attitude that athletes display today. Humility and quiet pride will never go out of fashion.

Guys who are coached to play an aggressive sport will have an "attitude" to some degree. It takes "attitude" to play this sport.

Look at some of the best defenses throughout the years in the NFL.. They had some "nasty" players, which was part of the personality of those great defenses... Why does this shite bother people so much?

Not to mention Drew Brees got into an opponent's face yesterday after taking a shot he didn't like. He only went on to torch the Texans in route to another W. I'd say he was fired up after jawing at the opponent. But he is also white.

Mutliple times during the game it was clearly evident that LSU's DB's were trashtalking the WVU receivers

I noticed this from the moment we entered the stadium during pre-game warmups. What I witnessed was both the WV & LSU players staring each other down from the moment they walked on the field (1 hour before kickoff). It continued during the game and in between just about every play. I've never seen this LSU team act this way, leading me to believe that it had more to do w/ WV.

We kind of brought this on as fans. The cheering the shock and awe from big hits. More and more games on tv, more and more cameras. What did you expect? You and everyone else treat theae guys like gladiators and warriors. Now ur pissed cus a guy crosses his arms when the camera is on him? What about the you cant see me the 07the team did? I bet u were bitching all the way to new orleans.

damn oweo bringing the pain here. Id much rather the mean mugging in your face d then a d that wants to take the offense to church. The d needs to turn up the swag even more so we can have 80 more threads about this.

Some of these people need to watch the 30 for 30 on Miami.

Some of that nastiness was encouraged by Jimmy Johnson.. because it was part of who his teams were. I saw Lee jawing during the MSU game and I liked it.. I saw a much more confident Lee.

To be honest, if I was not a LSU fan, this year's team would be a team I would pull for simply because I like how they play. And as for as TM7.. The guy was what.. A 3 star in HS that many people were not big on because of his size, etc.. IMO, the reason he is as good as he is is because of that "play with a chip on my shoulder" element..

the coaches are not the ones acting stupidly...
Tyran could and should have called on one obvious and lengthy taunting, where he stood over the player after we stopped the drive.
A penalty would have continued WV's drive.

Call it anything you want, but it is just not smart.
why put yourself in a position that could hurt your team after playing so hard ?

Football is a tough sport played by tough people...If you don't like it who cares you don't play...I like the intensity...I don't want to see a bunch of muppet babies on the field.

everyone thought that was awesome

I was at the game and saw only limited "replay" from TV..... so I don't KNOW -- but I didn't see anything out of him remotely like what I saw Saturday night.

I like the fact that Lee got in the guys face as well, showed alot of aggressiveness and fight in him. Made him play better as well.

Of course. The difference of being on offense vs defense. Giving hits vs receiving hits. But jawing at each other is the same. Football is a physical, full contact game that's played with high emotion. Guys will talk shite when physical contact is involved. The great ones use that to their advantage. In that respect, TM7 and Brees are pretty similar. So to answer your question, of course there are differences - a QB vs a DB. But bottom line is there are more similarities.

Sometimes mother frickers got to be told what just happened to them.. Seriously.. I guess I just like cocky, arrogant players. If you can start off with getting the edge on someone and let them know what you did.. They start getting frustrated and start messing up even more. Football is a mind game as well.
