Trash talking and showboating..... uncalled for behavior.

I am VERY proud of the way the Tigers are playing and the DB's are incredible.
I am a bit concerned about the degree of trash talking and the "mugging" for the cameras some players are doing.... in particular Tyrann Mathieu... he's an incredible athlete and a special player.... but the mouthing off and posing for the cameras is not going un-noticed and not in a good way.
Mutliple times during the game it was clearly evident that LSU's DB's were trashtalking the WVU receivers --- their facial reactions were like, "what the hell?"
I'd prefer to see some humility on the field --- beat the other team with talent and superior play.... save the BS - it's not a good reflection on the Team or the University and it's getting a bit out of hand from my perspective.
I'm sure this is a divided opinioin topic... but wanted to voice my opinion..... play hard, kick butt and stay humble.... that's the mark of a champion.
See Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn for examples....

Act like you've been there, I always say.

See pretty much any team coach by Saban.

Are you serious?? Their WRs were jaw jacking just as mush if not more than our DBs.

the swagga has been missing from the LSU defense the last few years. it is in full mode now. glad to see it's back.

WVU was running their mouth the whole game too.
It's football, get over it.

Trash talking in sports, what the immature call swagger, is eroding at the integrity of the game.
There was a time, long before my own, when sportsmanship meant something and was appreciated by the fans. Today its the guy who openly attempts to belittle his opponent that gets the positive attention.
Its sad but the stupid have come to define America in recent years.

You could have saves a shite ton of diverting and typing by just saying "I'm George and I hate black people"

YES, I am serious ... what I saw was our DB's being the agressors and taking it beyond the limit of tollerance.
OK -- since somebody didn't like my examples of class and hustle on the field... I'll give another...
See -- Barry Sanders on the field ---- no excessive cellebrations... just line up and do it.
As for the Saban comment.... not so much, but agreed their back to back undefeated (regular season) teams didn't mug and show off to the degree I'm seeing now.

Really?
These are 20 year old kids playing a game. Let them have some fun :)

Did you see his interview with Fowler after the game?
ETA: You are WAY OFF base with TM/HB7

U must have been one of the ones that wrote in to Dandy Don this morning. Who gives a shite, it is not hurting the team in any way. Did u really just use two offensive players as ur example? Smh

There's a time and place for everything. I've always thought actions speak louder than words, but I don't really care about a little trash-talking.
But I hate to see show-boating after a player just does what he is supposed to do. A D-lineman plugs a gap and stops a run... No need for show-boating then, especially if your team is down.
I like to see a little endzone celebration, as I think it pumps up the team and the crowd, but I definitely understand the 'act like you've been there before' crowd

Must have also missed the punches to the helmet on Claiborne.

shut up with this shite. its football not ping pong. defense needs to have a nasty demeanor.
