Until LSU installs Movie Tavern seating, a Jerry World size tv screen showing all other prominent games, the ability to nap in your stadium seat, and air conditioning...people are going to head home early. People are more willing to stay to watch a fun team though, hopefully last night creates some fun.

Maniac. I couldn't agree more! Quit being a pussy! It's 7-8 times a year if u are able to make all the games! Hey get a Lil something to eat while listening to post game in your car. chill out, it's better than working right? Put it in perspective man come on! OR give or sell tickets to someone who doesn't mind getting home late AFTER the whole game. People: it's a mindset. Slow down a lil bit for christs sake. A home game means u are out really late. Just embrace that and we will all be fine. Think about all the folks who want to be there and can't go for a myriad of reasons. Thoughts?

Why can't people just hang out and drink a few beers after? Or just put the damn post game show on and relax. I'm so tired of hearing about this. I get there early, park one block off of Nicholson by Chimes St and after the game it's so easy to get back to I10.

there are railroad tracks running from downtown and it would make a great deal of sense to have a commuter type train running on gameday from either the old train station or the Belle of Baton Rouge

BUT, there are two main issues:

where do you get the passenger cars from

handicapped access once you get to LSU

in an ideal world, you'd borrow them from some commuter type railroad...but as far as I know, the closest commuter lines are in Chicago...hard to move the cars into/out of position

Getting down Nicholson or river road after a game is a nightmare. Don't try to deny it. I don't leave early or anything but it is a problem.

If white people would get over their fear of driving through "bad neighborhoods", a lot of you whiny bitches would get home a lot sooner...

I have been zig-zagging in and out of games through the "bad neighborhoods" north of campus for years with no delays - never takes me any longer than 30 minutes to get parked and onto campus or get out of gridlock and onto free-flowing streets - I'm genuinely mystified why sheeple bitching about traffic don't use their brains and GPS smartphones and figure out another route, FFS!

You're welcome.

Every year they have a new traffic plan that they don't stick to. And it doesn't work. They let people come down Burbank to Walk Ons until the game ends. It doesn't make sense.

I've never sat in traffic as bad as LSU at any away game.

Left game with 4 minutes to go and I parked behind Softball Field.

Made it to Highland @ I-10 in 20 min down River Road.
