Why hasn't the admin brought back the old logo? 98% of the alum and student body hate thte new one.

They might be doing it this year with the media guide having "Like Knights of Old", but they need to promote the actual fight song (Fight For LSU) more and not "Hey Fighting Tigers". Eventually the student section will learn the words and it can take over as the known fight song. It would also help with basketball. The basketball version of Hey Fighting Tigers is absolutely terrible.

I think there are other issues with that other than the "Death Valley" sign. It doesn't even have to be the exact same sign (which may no longer exist). Let's just get some paint and plaster it on that huge wall between the west lower bowl and upper deck.

I know most fans would hate it and I know Independence Stadium would have to be expanded in order for this to work.
I just like how Texas and Oklahoma do their thing in the Cotton Bowl every year.
At least a basketball game would be cool.

This! I think it's a travesty that most of fan base doesn't even know the words to the Fight Song, or that it's not "Hey Fighting Tigers"!
