You thread title is idiotic. Why not just post a fricking bat signal for the anti Wade trolls next time?

That’s awesome, but if we can’t make any shots under the basket this season, it will be a rough rest of the year.

Jury still out on generals evaluation of 5 star Cs.

No lol. Traore in West Africa is like Smith in America. Tons of people with that name.

There’s the athletic big we’re accustomed to having. Can run the floor, catch lobs, and block shots.

And his scouting report says he likes to dunk everything. So that’s better to get sure buckets on anything close to the rim.

I’m slightly reserved after our last 5* center that we thought was a game changer

Two completely different types of centers.

Tell me about the new guy. Is he soft or is he an animal? Just from the pics he looks to be the same build as Reid

Traore is a skilled, efficient, and productive big man with a good natural frame. His efficiency comes in how he generally plays within himself offensively and does what is asked of him on the floor. Traore displays a natural shooting touch not only inside but out to 15 feet and he always looks dunk everything he possibly can while operating inside or in the dunker spot. He also has great hands, is a solid rebounder, and runs the floor with purpose. Traore has the size, mobility, and skill as a big man that high major guards would love to play with.
Reid is more of half-court back to the basket type post player. He’s not really athletic and has slow feet. This guy is like a more skilled Bigby Williams.

Sounds great . Then why was Reid rated a 5 star? I’m really not trying to be a smart arse here , but Reid doesn’t excel as a back to the basket post player either. Did Reid play against inferior teams in high school to earn that ranking? When I think 5 star center I think big muscular frame that is going to dominate the inside.

There’s that really weird sexual attraction to male LSU athletes and the size of their peens.
You probably make a lot of “oh yeah? Well you’re gay!” comebacks.

Oh yeah? Nice one fgt

I read the scouting and watched video. He is more athletic than Reid for sure, but not elite athleticism. Probably would still struggle to guard the perimeter. Much less shy of contact, and a better rebounder than Reid. Not going to be a shot blocker most likely, seems skilled enough offensively to get minutes immediately, but skilled big men might give him trouble. Probably one and done considering he was projected second round pick in 2023.
