Central Michigan is night and day a better, more disciplined team than LSU will ever be under Vargas.LSU can't shoot threes or even 15-footers with any consistency.Layups or nothing. Congrats to Central Michigan. Now go hire their coach.

It really is amazing how many mid range jumpers they missed on. And missed badly.

Also amazing how they had no sense of urgency with 1:30 left. They were down by 7-9 points and just kept moving the ball around instead of getting off a shot. Although, every shot they did throw up was a brick.

So tell us why we should watch more. This program has underperformed for years under this staff. Finally had a mid-season turnaround and started winning. Actually made the tournament for once then promptly got outplayed and upset in a 6 vs 11 matchup. Outside of “cause its LSU”- what is there to get excited about with women’s hoops under the present staff?

frick if I know. I don’t like women’s basketball and don’t watch.

I also know that 90% of people commenting haven’t and don’t watch either

Pokey's teams usually had pretty decent followings

Put a good product on the court, people will watch

Step back from the ledge for a second and realize you’re melting over women’s basketball.

Some of us want LSU's teams to do well. Since when is that bad?

If we are investing this much money into these programs we should definitely want to be successful
