He’s implying all Brady brought to LSU was a binder!

we saw the offense Ensminger could create in 2018 and it wasnt pretty. anyone being honest with themselves knows SE isnt a top notch OC

You don't think he learned a thing or two over the past 12 months?

e was also the first non coordinator to ever win the Broyles award. I mean come on, the man did a lot more than just bring a playbook with him

yeah I'm shocked that the NFL came after Brady and not Ensminger. we all know Brady just dropped the playbook off and sat back and watched Ensminger work.
there is a reason O publicly stated that Brady was the play caller when asked directly," who calls the plays?"only to a week later change his stance.

Ensminger and Brady were in Co-coordinator roles, everyone knew that that.

No Brady was a schemer and Slinger had the final say on all play calling.

Brady had a good amount of input but Slinger was the caller.

This according to Jacob Hester who is obviously close to the team. JH said that some plays E would let JB call and then E would modify it a little and it would work. He was coaching Brady too. JB didn't have experience play calling.

To call them Co-OC's is a disservice to Ensminger.

do I think our offense will be better than 2018? sure. you're comfortable with just keeping a guy that this time last year couldnt install the offense he will be running?

It appears he is. I still can’t believe that some people think that Brady didn’t have a lot to do with the entire flow of every game all game. He may have not actually called the majority of the plays in but he was in that booth talking to Steve and he was the one talking to Burrow on the headset getting a feel of what’s transpiring on the field after a series.

No.
He's implying Brady spent just two years with the Saints himself. Brady had one full year to impart on the LSU staff all that he'd learned in two.

how come no nfl team is coming after Ensminger?

Ensminger couldnt install the 2019 offense. he tried. it ended up being a zone read with no P in the RPO.
it ended up being one of the worst offenses this century

I tell you what, anyone, who has read the garbage you spew ad nauseam knows that if it isn't the Les Miles caveman offense, then in your opinion it isn't worth a crap. Go lobby for your idol elsewhere. We don't need to be bored to death by your ceaseless garbage again today.

Brady was the missing piece to the offensive puzzle that confused Ensminger for so long. No that piece is gone!

Do you even read the other posts. Did you listen to Burrows repeated comments during the year. Anyway I guess par for the course. Ensminger is not going anywhere.

I saw O answer a direct question about who calls plays and then a week later change it to fit a narrative.

do I think Ensminger called some plays?
yes.
do I think Ensminger was integral in our 2019 offense? not really.

Which one of the offensive staff couldve been gone last year and our offense still play great?
Ensminger or Brady?

If you could keep one coach, is it SE or JB?

yep.
we saw SE offense in 2018.

never said he should. he is lsu through and through and deserves a spot on the staff until he chooses to retire.

Well he’s the new OC for an NFL team, I wouldn’t gloss over his contribution to LSU like you’re doing.

He is capitalizing on his newfound fame courtesy of Joe Burrow and LSU to get paid. However, he hasn't coached one damn down of football for the Panthers yet.

Not to mention that the Saints' offense he brings with him to the Panthers, won't need to be converted to be compatible for college football. So he should be alright there.

However, in my opinion, it is foolish to trust a guy as young and inexperienced as Joe Brady with so little experience. Of course, I'm not a billionaire who can afford to do that either.

In any event, if I was Joe Brady, I'd hire someone on my staff with previous NFL OC experience to show me the ropes while I tried to learn as fast as possible.

By the way, no one is glossing over Joe Brady's contribution to LSU, but nonetheless, I'm not blowing his loss way out of proportion either. Cause Brady's loss will mainly be felt the most only in the wide receiver room.

As LSU already has the new offensive playbook which Brady and Ensminger in collaboration with each other both previously put together with the feedback of Joe Burrow.

Brady worked with our receivers too.....this helped a TON.

E knows this system now and I also think we'll be pleasantly surprised who will be helping him.
