We don't want another 2013 where we basically had an NFL team and played in the Outback Bowl.

A thought just occurred to me....

Imagine Mett paired up with Fournette leading the LSU offense with this current defense. Holy shite, that team would be unstoppable and nobody would have an answer for us at all and we would always win in spite of Les Miles gaffes and mistakes.

Ease off about that. LSU is the only football going in La this year.
I don't look forward to Sundays this season

On the road to SC, Florida who has IMO potentially one of the best defenses in the country talent wise. Then we get a break with a WKU team who i think will come in fired up and ready to play before we go on the road against Alabama. We come home for a Arkansas team who look much improved over A&M today and then we go to Oxford to play Ole Piss then finish out the year against the Aggies at home. Im pretty confident in my ability to count and that seems like a bit more than two "tough games. That seems like 5 possible top 25 matchups with potentially two of those being top 5 match ups if ole miss remains unbeaten and alabama somehow works their way back up. And thats all before we head to Atlanta to play a possible top5 or 10 ranked Georgia or a ranked florida team for the 2nd time. Winning all those games will be a serious challenge and then trying to stay healthy to play maybe 2 more post season games makes it that much harder. Im sick of the oregons and OSU's who get to basically prepare for post season play all year. I think at some point they will have to award teams that come through tougher schedules with more scholarship slots to balance it out. We'll need the depth especially with talks of an 8 team playoff.

other teams are thin.. and dealing with crazy injuries..

LSU is blessed. yeah it is a challenge. i agree people are almost overlooking some of those games.. sc on the road will still be tough, but a game we should win.. florida is also a tough team, but at home is another game we should win. we ran all over them last season.. look for more of the same with a better rushing team this season... and team in general. ole miss is not as amazing as made to be.. they don't have a run game and chad kelly threw 2 ints to only 1 td vs vandy today.. but vandy had no offense whatsoever to really compete and that was still a struggle for ole miss.. the aggies are not even as good as years past, they have no wins over anyone impressive, and they got ran all over by arkansas who is actually not very good this season.. and we own them and the game is at home.. and this team will be fired up at home for that. i am most concerned with the alabama on the road game.

i am not at all concerned with the playoffs.. nor should you fear georgia too much.. they haven't played anyone either.. LSU and Georgia actually have similar teams, but I believe LSU has more overall talent.

LSU gets past that, the 2 game playoffs are not nearly as hard as you may think. LSU would match up well with whoever would be left.. I would love their chances then. I believe LSU would beat a Michigan St, or even an OSU.. both teams who have struggled vs inferior competition this year.. LSU's rushing game this season is out of this world, and Harris is as efficient of a QB as there is now.. He fits in well for this offense.

I can agree with most of that. Don't get me wrong I think we are good enough to beat anyone in the country if we play our game but anyone saying that we only have two tough games left has to be either delusional or very uninformed. This is the SEC where just about every team you play week in and week out is good enough to beat you if you come out flat and make mistakes and thats what makes it the best conference in college football.

And for the record i would love to see Tulane come back on the schedule.

It was a great game, competitive and good to see the ORANGE MEN are back on track to being the BEAST they were in the '60's.

I thought the Tigers played great, thought the QB did great too!

Look, this was their Super Bowl. They were as fired up as they will be all year, in their own stadium, playing a prohibitive favorite. If not for the ridiculous amount of penalties it is a blowout. Penalties are fixable. Lack of talent is not. Also realize that some of the most damaging penalties were not legit (pass interference when ball is not catchable, late hit when qb is inbounds, etc) This team will do great things.

Correct. We are watching as good of an LSU team as has ever taken the field....and yet our fans bitch like they are on a losing streak...

in a nutshell, the game was sloppy and played without energy or focus. This is LM football. Ugly to watch even when we win- Worse when we lose

Rough environment early game and a much better 3-0 team than we expected. Oline sucked in pass protection but Harris was clutch

They're melting because they're through the looking glass.

The SEC did not want LSU to win because Alabama lost last week. They sent their hatchet man Tom Ritter to ensure it. And now they're trying to keep Leonard Fournette from winning the Heisman Trophy and setting records.

Some of them are so angry that nobody else cannot see it. The conspiracy is so bad at this point that we need Congress to investigate. this is the trouble with this fan base

That team was about as "beast" as a Tulane or ULL.
