Yep. And they just showed a clip of it on ESPN.

The fans knew that they would show that clip during SB game in Omaha. Then they will high five whoever is with them and say "Look man, that's me. I'm super classy!"

This is the best part of it. Hopefully it made them feel like they'd like to be the team getting the victory lap next year. Other than that, i doubt they care much.

its only classy to clap when you win. duh. Seriously..I rag alot of LSU baseball fans....but the ones who stayed showed a TON of class to clap for that team...the ones who are angry about it will attach themselves to this when its convenient. to those who did that ...all seriousness...that was really cool.

I would hope it makes them want to take their own victory lap next season. I really doubt our baseball team questions our fans dedication to them at all.

So I guess opposing teams want to draw LSU in the post-season. Its just like playing at home - only better because there are MORE fans celebrating with us!

However, it could have been something like....."Look at this shite....no wonder these assholes were sitting on their hands for 14 of 18 innings in these last 2 games....They wanted SB to win!!!!!"

Actually I can't think any fan would want our players to watch them congratulate or thank SB after they kicked our arse.....even if we are good sports how can we honestly do that to OUR team.

Mikey, it sounds like you were at the game. Did our fans send off our SR's in any way?

for realz. Since everyone cares so much about feelings, you think that made guys like Nola, Hanover, and Gausman feel great after having the unthinkable happen by losing a SR in Alex Box?

America doesn't care about college baseball and no one outside of a couple of clowns on Long Island thinks LSU fans aren't a bunch of drunk coonases. This won't change anything in that regard.

It just sucks we won't be able to tell that story in Alex box north this year

If we had played baseball like SB, then maybe we could go north. I don't go to the games and don't know what is right, I just know they beat us in everything that is fundamental about baseball...

Exactly - talk about unclassy - disrespecting your own team like that on your home field - just for the selfish motivation of appearing classy on national tv.

Most of the nation couldn't care less about college baseball. All of you who are so bent out of shape should consider developing a little perspective. Don't even compare football to baseball. I am as big a Tiger fan as there is, but I realize that my team got beat by a better team that most fans wrote off before the series began. If I would have been at Alex Box I would have applauded the huge underdog who whipped our arse at our home field. We should learn humility from this defeat and move forward to be better prepared next season. Congrats to SB and I will be pulling for them to do well in the CWS and I will be pulling even more for our team to make BIG improvements so that we can once again make it to the CWS once again, hopefully next year

Just wait until tomorrow when the threads start popping up "Hey, what did the Stony Brook players and coaches say about the crowd? Do they like us? Did they say that we are awesome? Come on, give me a link!"
