Like I said, they both lost. Do you have more info?

USC actually beat Oklahoma when leinart set the record. Lsu lost by more than Oregon did. Some really great fans on this site. Then there are clowns like la_birdman

The way I see it, JL is at worst on par with JJ..

Must be why he was the starter last year.

Why would you not sweat a game? LSU's only wins by more than 7 points were against Vanderbilt, Miss St, McNeese St, Louisiana-Monroe, and Texas A&M. So many beyond homer fans on this site. Also some very informed and reasonable ones as well.

yes, 81 yard throws are what I would call a statistical outlier, it counts but I'm talking about consistency...your quarterback didn't have it during the

You keep ignoring 363 yards passing. You are the only person on the entire planet who think Auburn won that game because Auburn BACK 7 shut down Oregon. Anyone who knows anything about football, so once again I am not talking about you, knows that the game was won in the trenches.

Honestly I don't get your argument. It is a perfectly reasonable argument that LSU will win because they are superior on the line, but to think they will win because of a huge advantage of match ups at the skill position is just ignorant.

I'm sweating it.

I think the edge goes to us but a little bit of bad luck and I think this thing could get ugly.

Honestly I'm not too worried about this game either. I think our D has the talent to keep us in any game this year and even without JJ we should be fine against the Ducks. Oregon lost a lot of their front 7 from last year so I think we dominate the LOS and pound the ball all night long. I hope J. Lee has a big game, not a Lee or JJ hater or supporter just want the best thing for the team and right now Lee is the guy and I hope he steps up for this game and we play the way I know this team can play and we'll be fine!

I didn't say they won it because of the back 7, I said they physically dominated Oregon, and outside of one long play...they did...the linebackers in particular. And Auburn had the worst back 7 in college, so it was surprising to see them, linebackers in particular, be so physically dominant...Everyone in the world outside of Oregon knew Fairley was going to eat their lunch so that wasn't so surprising

So i guess LSU got manhandled by Auburns back 7 too because JJ had 49 passing yds. LSU had total 243 passing yds. So i guess you guys got dominated by the back 7

Never take anything for granted. Remember Miami of Ohio. On paper we should have won. I still remember looking through my field glasses and commenting to my then spouse as to how big those boys were. We got embarased. On any given night .......

+1. There's a reason they play the games.
