What doesn’t that stupid question even mean?

1. Kevin O'Sullivan, Florida - 9.27 (1 title)
1. Mike Martin, Florida State - 9.27 (0 titles)
3. Paul Mainieri, LSU - 11.00 (1 title)
4. Mike Fox, North Carolina - 13.09 (0 titles)
5. Tim Corbin, Vanderbilt - 15.45 (1 title)
6. Brian O'Connor, Virginia - 17.36 (1 title)
7. Mike Bianco, Ole Miss - 24.00 (0 titles)
8. Dan McDonnell, Louisville - 26.18 (0 titles)
9. Dave Van Horn, Arkansas - 27.09 (0 titles)
10. Jim Schlossnagle, TCU - 27.54 (0 titles)
The only 2 coaches with more national championships during this period (Pat Casey & Ray Tanner) are now retired.
Kevin O'Sullivan is the only coach who has had more success than Paul Mainieri without dispute, and even that is by a slim margin.
I just wanted to provide some facts for all of the fans who think we should fire Mainieri and hire one of the coaches who achieve better results.
None of these coaches have the fan base or resources, nor the recent tradition.
You could take any coach in the top 50 in this list, put them at LSU, and they'd at least be in the top 7-8.

If you compare the last 4 years, its not slim.
LOL. Okay... I'll play along... Just for the fun of it...
Kevin O'Sullivan Florida 1.75
Mike Martin Florida State 9.5
Dan McDonnell Louisville 10.5
Paul Mainieri LSU 11
Mike Fox North Carolina 14.75
Tim Corbin Vanderbilt 17.5
Jim Schlossnagle TCU 18.25
Mike Bianco Ole Miss 22.25
Sure, it's not slim. O'Sullivan has dominated the last 4 seasons (and won 1 title). But look at who is still 4th... I've already conceded that O'Sullivan is better. So all you are proving is that if we fire Mainieri, we better hire O'Sullivan or it's a downgrade or equal at best...

More twisting of words, nobody’s saying he has to win it every year but he’s had 2 maybe 3 other teams that should’ve won it and that his decisions and approach crippled those opportunities. 1 title in 10 years isn’t good enough at LSU period.

Yes 85% of the excuse makers push this idea on everyone. It’s being done in this very thread right now.

I haven’t asked a question dumbass. Talk about irony

No, it’s not

Lol you people are insane so I’ll just leave it at this.. 1 NATIONAL TITLE AT LSU IN OVER 10 YEARS ISNT GOOD ENOUGH! If you disagree you’ve lowered your standards for this program with the sole purpose of giving cover to a coach, in turn holding that coach above the program itself. That is the unbiased truth of the matter.

How many active coaches have more than one CWS title and/or multiple appearances in the CWS final series?
Posted on 3/27/19 at 8:23 pm to Madking
See what you’ve posted is an opinion, not a fact.

How many coaches have more CWS wins than PM over the last 10 years? How many have been in the final series multiple times?
In the last 10 years. SC has won twice. LSU, Vandy, FL, & VA have won once and lost in the finals once.

I don't even necessarily disagree with this assessment but what does this prove? We already have a coach who's in the top 3. So if we fire him, we can't hire most of the top 50 because they would only be top 7-8 which is less than top 3. So again, who are we going to hire? We have a top 3 coach. We all want to go to unanimous #1. Who are the coaches who will bring us there? This is the question that not 1 person can provide an answer...

And when facts are posted they’re exused. One thing about excuses and losers they’re never wrong.
