There’s a reason quality starts use 6 innings rather than 7 as their metric and that’s because it’s statically unlikely for a pitcher to go 7 full innings or more even if they’re having a good game. 15 pitches per inning x 7 innings = 105 pitches. Most guys aren’t getting there in college ball with a teacup sized strike zone.

Because your shitty comment about how he’s “only thrown 7+ innings twice this year” like it’s impossible for him to go 7+ ignored the fact that he’s gone 6, 7, and 5 in his last 3 outings, and the 5 inning outing could’ve easily been 7 if he wouldn’t have been on a pitch count.
Let me twist the stats too: in his last 5 outings that weren’t limited by a pitch count, he went 6+ innings 3 times. You constantly cherry pick stats solely to be a negative dick. You’re not smart. Stfu and get out of this thread with your tired arse shtick
