What’s crazy to think about is this will be 3 out of 5 years with JJ that we don’t host a regional which to me is the bare minimum requirement of an LSU baseball coach. That should happen every year. Now obviously winning two titles in that span gives him some leeway. What a rollercoaster since he’s been here.

It's like a cold slap in the face or a slug from a .45

Why do we not have a hitting coach?

Turtle Thomas is on the camp circuit now and available. LSU has never had a better hitting coach. JJ needs to make this happen.

We’re not even getting to a regional this season, which is like 3-16 in basketball or losing season in football. The latter 2 get you fired at LSU.

The lack of regionals and not sniffing a SEC title yet are red flags.

I was pleased JJ took some blame yesterday, but as he is currently untouchable he needs to shake things up and fire some of his staff.

$$$$$$ he lost Neal, Neal wouldn’t start over Arambide tho. Maybe Serna.
He lost the outfielder to Texas who wouldn’t be playing over Brown, Curiel and couldn’t beat out the guy that led the team in hitting in the sEC from the 9 hole Chris Stanfield. However, maybe you
Could have moved Brown to first and left him play right.
I can’t recall others but Johnson mentioned losing guys in the system that were developing. Part of that was also MONEY

I hear you. However, no one thought LSU would win it all last year as well.

There is enough talent to compete at a higher level than this.

We all agree on this. They are playing below their ability.

It’s pretty unacceptable to not even make the postseason. It’s looking that way as of now

Very surprised JJ did not evaluate this teams talent better

He doesn’t strike me as the type that gets complacent after two titles but maybe he did.
