Really? That's you take from what has been reported? There was "almost" a change?

Wishful thinking, but each to our own.

Thing is if miles would step back and let Cameron have one more year to get back to 2013 level or better or hire a solid OC and let him run the offense and we turn it around and win another sec title he would be considered one of the best coaches in college football. That's the only dark cloud over his head. His wins a natty and recruiting ability along with how he runs a pretty clean program is all indicative of a top level coach.

So tell me....when did LSU fall flat on their face after being a preseason top 5 with Vegas?

The only years they have won less than 10 games under miles was 2008 and 2009 and 2014...I'm pretty sure they weren't considered a serious nc contender in any of those years...but facts don't support your agenda so you throw out bs and hope no one calls you on it.

If LSU is in the hunt for the playoff in late November next year then I will eat crow on wanting Miles gone. Something tells me I will not be eating any crow next year though.

You must not have been paying attention the month of November. This is not about what Vegas fricking thinks. This is about a team that came out three straight weeks and hot arse-raped by bama ole miss and Arkansas. That is not good at all. Not sure what happened but miles better get it straight before next November or the same thing will happen again.

Exactly. Who gives a crap what Vegas thinks a year in advance. All I know is that LSU got completely dominated for three straight weeks. That should not happen.

You don't think he was on the edge of being canned? Because he sure as hell thought he was out.

What I'm growing tired of is:

1. Calling people out (jackass, idiot, I wish you were dead). Can't we disagree without name calling.

2. The "I was with your mother" attempt at a joke. I informed one poster that my mother was dead and the reply back was what he did with my dead mother.

I am all for expressing opinions and disagreement. The above two example don't exactly add to discussions.

Shouldnt it tell you something that Miles has lost so many posiTigers? That you feel necessary to pump up the pumpers?

Were discussions among LSU powers bout the program direction taking place? Yes. Did those discussions reach the canning level? I have seen nothing to suggest such. Was Jimbo's name considered by some at LSU at some time? Yes. Has there been anything to suggest from the LSU camp or Fla. St. camp that such a rumor was anything more than wishful thinking on the part of some? If there has been, I haven't seen it.

Why would Jimbo jump to LSU when he is winning 93% of his games in the last 4 yrs. at Fla. St. including a NC?

Doesn't ring true to my common sense radar, but who knows.

Miles had his family on the field pregame, they were crying, he stopped and waived goodbye, dude thought he was out. There were more than emails exchanged among board memebers. Thats why theses folks have private email addresses and cell phones.

I have seen nothing from Miles suggesting this and only pure conjecture from others.

We have had 8 L's the last 2 yrs. That is not acceptable. So, having discussions bout the direction of LSU football by the powers that be should be expected and welcomed. I don't think that translates into Miles being on the verge of being released, but who knows.

As I said in another post, I've been pretty down on the staff and negative the past month or so. There's a lot of negativity going around, I contributed to it, but there's just too much of it now.

I will support LSU and the players, and wait and see how the coaches do, and try to hold my tongue. It is what it is, and hopefully things turn out very well.

Whether or not you want Miles fired. Delusional or not. We have to support the guys that pledged to play for the state of Louisiana, in an ecstatic way. The negative energy around the program has to stop. And that means if you want Miles gone, great, but don't put the program down as if it's some kind of deaf soul.

Now that the beloved TD got its recognition on a nationally televised network, we can stop pumping the wrong energy in the wrong direction because now we know, EVERYONE READS THIS BOARD. It's time to support WHOMEVER runs this program with gratitude and dignity.

Miles, may or may not, have deserved to be canned. Either way, whether you support our coach or not, the negativity has to stop and stop NOW.

Support our TEAM and PROGRAM and keep the BS you have to say about Miles deep in your soul. So that one day when he's gone, you can bitch about him all you want to your little nega friends on this board because it won't matter anymore after that. Until then, choke on your negativity and "fake it till you make it" positive energy into our program.

Don't any of you realize we're balls deep in recruiting right now and the negativity affects these young kids' decisions.

The biggest difference between POSI and NEGAs is actually pretty simple.

The majoirty of us NEGAs actually understand the game of football. Most of you sunshine pumpers just want to keeps Miles around because "he's just such a great guy!" Sure, he is an amazing human being. But being an amazing human being does not win football games and championships.

Us NEGAs see the negative direction the program is headed due to a basic principle that anyone who's ever played the game can understand. YOU NEED A QB TO WIN. As a previous poster pointed out, there has been one QB Miles himself brought into the program that has panned out. It is complete unacceptable for a team as talented as LSU's has been in the last 4 years to not make it to Atlanta even ONCE. We NEGAs understand that. It is inexcusable for LSU to bring in top tier talent year in and year out and perform the way they have.

All of this falls on one thing, COACHING. The only one to lay blame at for the short comings of this program is MILES. I pay damn good money to see my school and my team succeed. I absolutely have the right, and obligation to bitch about the direction of this program. So frick you sunshine pumpers, I love this program and this school.
