GF goes to OU. She and her parents are fully expecting the worst for OU.
Think it will be way closer. There has never ever been a time where everyone piling up on one side of a 1 v 4 matchup has turned into a blowout.
It's going to be a one possession Big 12 fireworks type game that hopefully turns out well for the good guys

No way this is a one passion game. Not with the players Oklahoma has out on defense.

Hurts and Lamb are capable of carrying the Sooners. And average players sometimes elevate their performance through sheer will and passion in big games. This OU team can score. A lot.

This OU team won’t score on every possession. They will move the ball but LSU’s defense is good enough to get a couple stops and that will be good enough for LSU to win by 2 TDs

Players recruited by OU are not average players. They may not be starters right now but they are not average. Top 10 recruiting classes year and year out and a large majority are top recruits from Texas.

We expected to beat Clemson in our first appearance. We expected to beat UGA two years ago (and should have). We did NOT expect to beat Alabama last year. Our expectations this year are somewhere between Georgia and Alabama, with a definite lean toward last year.
If we beat LSU tomorrow, we'll only be slightly less surprised than the rest of the country. If we had last year's offense (or the year before that), we'd like our chances. We don't. Hurts is not that guy.

They keyboard warriors over on DirtBurglars think OU will blow LSU out. The Sooner fans I know in person are much more reasonable, even think LSU will slaughter OU.
I personally think it'll be close. OU has been here before several times recently, we haven't.
