College football is a highly emotionally charged event. Alcohol reduces peoples' inhibitions.
Put the two together and you no longer have a rated G game experience. Combine those two factors with the culture in Louisiana, and well, it's just going to be rated R at a minimum. Hell every festival I went to while I lived there served beer. There were drunk people at every public event.
Up here, I haven't been to a festival that had beer for sale outside of Asheville.
Clemson games, on the other hand, are usually at noon, have little drinking (other than iced tea and lemonaid), and are a lot more family friendly.
But boring as hell compared to an LSU game, in my experience.
Some people prefer that church like atmosphere, but I prefer TS the way it always was and is. Baudy and raucus. That's what the game atmosphere in BR is famous for. Don't want your kids hearing that stuff, then don't bring them to LSU football games.
Simple as that. Or I guess you could walk around being the profanity police and (almost) kicking arse whenever you heard profanity. I think that strategy is doomed to fail however.
YMMV

Its PG-13 at best since they stopped selling alcohol in TS.

Like he remembered this the next day, much less two days later.
