Walking by with 4 kids on Nicholson, very close to the intersection of Skip B. Drive. Some guys tailgating and when we get close this young punk starts to yell at a friend and every third word was frick. After the 5th one I turned around but the wife grabbed me and said lets go.

Hey you.......you were almost sent to the ER. Learn how to act people.

1) frick is just a word so get over it.

2) You can't control what other people say. It's not Nazi Germany.

3) I'm thinking there's a pretty good chance the OP would've been worked and sent crying on his knees to his wife.

Wow. Don't bring your kids to these events if this upsets you. not saying the kid is right, but you should prepare for this.

And a physical altercation is completely the wrong way to go about this. besides, it's just a word. who cares. Teach your children to not say those things. They'll hear them one way or another.

So beating up a kid is how you you're suppose to act. Why didn't you just ask him to tone it down hard arse.

Correct response. Although, college students are pretty fricking stupid . . . especially when drinking.

Sorry to break this to you, but unless your kids are under 6 years old, or live under a rock, they probably hear "frick" several times a day.

Adults taking their children to campus on gameday should expect this sort of behavior and be prepared to be parents. At the same time, if you are a young adult and see kids or a family walking by you, as an adult you should be able control your mouth for a few seconds.

Come on man, I understand it's inappropriate but at least act like as if you've been to an LSU football game. It's not like as if you haven't heard or said the word before. Spare me the "I've never the "F" word in my life" bullshite. Just nut up.

You seem like an overcompensating wannabe-macho douche.

But I can see where you're coming from. After all, once a kid hears the word frick, they're doomed to a lifetime of prostitution, drug addiction, devil worshiping and/or pedophilia.

Yeah, I take my kids from time to time and I always remind them that they may hear some words we don't say at home or anywhere for that matter and when they do, ASK ME, what it means and if it's something they can say before they ever use it. Not everyone lives by the same values and same code of conduct we do, and that's ok.

BTW, who is less mature:

A. Guy yelling curse word

OR

B. Guy fighting another man for yelling a curse word?

Take a step back and realize you would have looked really dumb.
