I know a well respected CEO of a Fortune 500 company in Florida. He told me once that demoting an Upper Management employee NEVER works. It's not fair to them. Respect cannot be lost and gained back so easily.

I think Miles makes them both an offer to stay, but Pevato and Mallory will both bolt.

you can't fire a guy one year removed from a NC and not take a massive PR hit. Hell LSU got scorched in the national media for tossing John Brady

why i am i hearing Crowton may leave so much lately? I like him, but I am not as big as a fan as most people are. however i wasn't upset about Bo leaving and look what it got us, so now i'm scared to loose cordinators, cuz don't know what will get in return.

Peveto's daughter is Miles' daughters first best friend ever. He's safe.

Word is Crowton and Miles on the outs for the past 6 weeks. Les did the same thing to Jimbo. Over-ruled the plays called when things get hairy. I also know he and Bo were not BFF's late last year.

We can't assume that Miles' plays were bad and Crowton's were good, but an established Coordinator will not put up with that shite. I guess thats why getting Tenuta will never be realistic unless Miles takes a step back.

1st rule of management: No fraternizing with the hired help.

Both DC's have to go.

The question is done Miles have the respect of the majority of tiger nation for everyone to support him in the decision he makes. I personally dont think he shows enough tough love with the kids or hold coaching accountable. I mean think about it. He has been an awful lot of talk this year and no action. Ive seen positive things over the long term come from him but nonw within the current year. I can give examples.

Time to start completely over on the defensive side of the ball. I wouldn't keep any of them. Not one area - DL, LBs, or DBs improved throughout the season.

Without significant change on the defensive side of the ball, there is little hope next year will be any better than this year.
