Correct. It was like 6 kool-aid drinkers, some of whom didn't really rip on LSU, but all of tehm with some irrational, infatuation with Johnny Ha Ha, or johnny Football, or Johnny Dickwad.

You know the ones right? They post from work, consequently stealing form their employers, but don't see it that way.

We still have a larger percentage of our fan base that likes the Rose Bowl, even though no one we recruit watches it, or cares about it. If we don't go to the Rose Bowl, they want to take their travel trailers to either Arizona, or Texas.

You have yours, we have ours. It's much lie the 10% who make the 90% of the money. The other 90%, both LSU and Iowa fans will natuarally gravitate towards one another at the game, and the rest of us will naturally be separated from them.

I have spoken, therefore it is. I had pizza for lunch, therefore I have a tummy ache. It is cold here. I'm not going to either California, Texas ort Arizona, I'm going to Pompano Beach, with a 4 hour drive north to see a football game. I guess it's in Tampa, and being played on New Year's Day.

Nearly all Iowa fans are delighted to be in the Outback playing LSU--it's only a few message board idiots who are making an issue of it. And even then, I think it's only because they wanted to see what our defense could do against Johnny Manziel.

But don't sell Iowa short in history. We have perhaps the most respected Heisman winner ever in Nile Kinnick, as well as the first winner ever (from Dubuque, played for U of Chicago). We are 3-1 against the SEC in four bowl games, and were competitive in a fifth (the least said about that game, the better). We have a great stadium, and incredibly loyal fans. We are--last I read--in the top five for putting players into the NFL. We're not some podunk team from the cornfield that's never done anything. We may not have quite as much tradition or success as LSU--nor do we have a bitchin' live Tiger mascot--but we're no dumbass patsy to be sneered at. Yeah, you might prefer playing a Nebraska or a Michigan for the 'name' of it. Well, hate to disappoint you, but we beat Nebraska handily in Lincoln, and held a punchless Michigan to about 50 total yards in the second half of our victory against them. Why would you want to play teams that, well, kind of SUCK? You just might win this game, but at least, when it's over, you'll know you were in a fight.

And what's so bad about that?

I don't think anybody's comparing Iowa to ULL and they definitely aren't so arrogant to think that Iowa can't win, esp coming off the Arkansas game, but damn dude, y'all are acting like LSU hasn't won 2 national titles in the last 10 years. What has Iowa done during that time other than hold its dick?
You are not on LSUs level bro, but don't be pissed, few are. LSU is going thru an unprecedented time as a program.

I'm sorry your program isn't as preferred as Mich or Nebraska. It's not our fault. How would feel if you were playing Vandy instead of LSU? Well that's how we feel.
