Certain elements of every fan base are a disgrace.

Did you not see an Alabama fan being cheered on while tea-bagging a passed out LSU fan after 1/9?!?

LSU raises an amazing amount of money to support it's football program. I know Joe Dean just passed, RIP, but we had no clue during the 90's how to raise money and pay coaches and support a program.

LSU fans, both the alumni and layman, dole out huge amounts of money. It's not the fans, at least not right now. Keep shitting the bed to Ole Miss and maybe that money does dry up some. Then blame the "fans".

I swear on my dad's grave that when I was at LSU in 89/90's, half of the stadium was unsold, un-sat, un-funded.

You'll find every fan base in the country saying the same thing. The one's that actually care, like LSU fans.

OUr fans are passionate, and that's a plus. You really don't want 100% sunshine pumpers who have little passion

Eh, back in 1999 on Tigerroar you had the same types trumpeting DiNardo's tenure. Do you want to go back to Curley? Remember the EARLY 90's.

Goo ole Tigerroar

I remember the 90's, and the 80's. LSU fans are special and better than most fan bases in the country.

I really don't like people that have that thought process. You're a pretentious a-hole and have no idea what you're talking about.

Hal Hunter has the best LSU football record at 100%.

LSU 35 - Arky 10 in 1999. He coached just one game after DiNardo was fired.

How so?

Sample survey size in relation to the entire fan base?

How many other fan bases have you studied in making this generalization?

Or are you just talking out of your arse?

This is absolutely true.

I remember the first LSU message board meltdown being the firing of Dinardo midseason, and then the announcement of Nick Saban as the next coach.

"We hired the coach that Dinardo beat in a bowl game!"

Consequently, LSU fan interest shot up again and the atmosphere of Tiger Stadium came back. Go figure.

I was at that game with my season tix! and we had a losing season that year! and I am a non-degree holder from LSU. HOW COULD THAT BE? WTF?

With as much talent as we recruit and sign each year, Forrest Gump could win eight games a year.

I don't hate miles. I just don't think that, when it comes to decision making, he is anywhere close to being a top ten coach.
