Rehab for weed what a joke. Need to send fat people to bacon rehab it's killed more people than weed.

Yep. Stupid is as stupid does.

hard to say...relapse rate in general is about 80% in the first year (the stats are a rough estimate because its impossible to truly get an accurate number)

let me ask you just one question:
What in all those gems was actually wrong? I'm curious. You putting them up there as if to say I was wrong. I appreciate you going through all the effort to dig into my posts....I know it took some time and I have an appreciation for your efforts...but, again, what in all those posts you quoted was actually "wrong"? TM goes to rehab, and suddenly my information is wrong, even though it had absolutely nothing to do with TM going to rehab. Nice....intelligence is not rampant on the rant...for sure...lol

Not that it was "wrong", but what does your education and business success say bout the right or wrong of your opinion on this topic?
I haven't read everything posted bout TM and his next move/option, but did anyone suggest he would put himself in a drug rehab center?
Very nice and unexpected, at least by me, call for the TM guidance people to make.

Appreciate all of your info (and VC's too)...
I guess we'll just have to see how it all plays out now. I wish the best for TM7 and hope that we can one day see him again in an LSU uniform.
Assuming he gets his life in order, and that is a big assumption, I believe that he will either go Pro in the Spring or return to LSU in the spring.

Can I have cliffnotes in this thread?

That's what Red has been saying for a couple days now....Red and VC both have some solid info, albeit from different viewpoints/sides of the situation.

Drug rehab for weed????
i see your point, but with so much on the line and prior offenses, why do you think TM continued to smoke? Assuming that's the deal that got him kicked off.
if he goes to the pros, is not weed a prohibited substance?
I can't image someone "can't" stop smoking weed, but at best the decision by TM to continue to do so was irrational and destructive as to his future, so maybe he needs some kind of "help" to sort this stuff out and learn how to walk the straight and narrow for his benefit and future prosperity.

I haven't read through this entire thread either, but it looks like:
TM7 rehab/counseling, no football this Fall
Re-enroll at LSU in spring semester
(either Go Pro or try to return to LSU team in Fall 2013 if they let him, emphasis on if).
Basically what Red has been saying all along. VC has been saying that LSU would prefer that TM7 transfer and the situation be over as far as LSU is concerned...I would imagine LSU is now just in a wait-and-see mode while retaining the option to review the situation at a later date.
At this point, there's nothing for anyone at LSU to comment on....as far as they are concerned, the situation is over for now. Could they revisit the situation at a later date? Sure, but there's no reason to even discuss that at this point because there are so many variables that would make that later review never even happen or necessary.
