so strength has nothing to do with playing football?

If you talk to world class sprinters, arm strength is extremely important for speed and acceleration.

I like where his focus was: speed, agility, quickness and specific drills

That helps his draft stock x10 more than bench. Like previously said, he'll improve his bench... most likely after pro-day.

Since when is Mathieu a press corner? LOL

And since when did he have trouble tackling anybody? I remember him taking down Trent Richardson. WTF????

I just don't get it . Somebody explain to me what the bench press has to do with defending a pass. Deion the greatest and didn't even tackle in the NFL. Tyrann might not be able to lift 225 but he dammnnn sure can tackle.

Guys, I'm talking purely OFF the field. Nobody is doubting his abilities.

We know. You are saying his off field ethic is not good because he benched 4 reps. We disagree because its retarded.

His measurables are solid but he is a play maker and premiums are put on that at any level. Leon Sandcastle was not a great tackler and not a gym rat but football speed was best ever and instincts were off the chart. If his pee is clean, he must be on our team !

No, its realistic...but keep on dreaming. Sooner or later, you will snap out of it. I am expecting for the worst and hoping for the best here because I know how tm7 is and can't put any expectations on the situation.

I can hit a golf ball 290+ and I am 5'9 160 lbs. I cant bench 160 lbs right now.

Hitting a golf ball is not strength.

And also, with any NFL team, if they want him to bench more, they will have him at 15-20 reps within a month.

Quadruple his reps?

Realistically, it doesn't matter if bench matters in the NFL. Strength does matter and I sincerely doubt any lifting program that doesnt include some form of bench in it. Bench does not equal strength but its idicative of strength.

Either way, I would think that he would have prepared for the bench if he planned on doing the bench.

I say Denver Broncos will draft him, so he can smoke weed freely...
