If he really has it all together now, as it appears he does, I think a team is going to get a steal. I mean if you can lock him up for 4 or 5 years on a rookie contract at probably no more than 500k per, and he performs like he did as a soph. at LSU....watch out!!! I'm mean what's the harm in investing that little amount of money (relative to the NFL that is) in him.

And what makes you think he has?

I don't know either way, and I'm pulling for the guy, but what exactly makes you think he "has it all together now"? During the 2011 season, and the 2012 preseason, you can't find one instance of him looking bad in an interview or public appearance. All of the "questionable activities" take place away from public view.

his 4 reps on the bench press really shows how hard hes working...i wish him all the success in the world but be cautiously optimistic here

even if drug wise you are correct...

He seems overweight(slower and heavier than he was) and there's no way in hell he is as strong as he could be.

That being said, those reasons mean that he'll drop. An NFL team will get his arse in shape and he'll do very well for an NFL team at a bargain.

Well, from what I understand, he takes a piss test once a week, FWIW.
Not to mention he is constantly around people (like PP) that are a good influence on him.

I hear next season before the ball is thrown the CB and WR will do bench press reps. Based on who does more s how the play will turn out.

Sound stupid?
So does putting any stock whatsoever in benching

What about jamming WR's at the line and/or run support? You dont think strength helps?
