If TJ can continuously throw the ball as good as Myles, why should Myles see the field again?? I mean, TJ is more gifted physically, he’s more mobile, has a bigger arm and has the size to a hit! If Myles is ready for next weekend, if there should be a QB battle, but if Myles isn’t ready to go next weekend, and TJ starts again, plays well and gets the win in auburn, I think TJ should get the starting job moving forward!

Get ready for everyone to downgrade Finley by saying the team played too well last night.

I'll admit that TJ did very well, but he also had a run game to take the pressure off. Myles really did not have that in the first three games. I need to see a bigger sample size. I would want to see how he responds when the game is on his shoulders.

Does O have the balls to pull the trigger on this? Saban benched Hurts in favor of Tua, Kirby smart failed to do this with Fromm and Justin Fields.

Absolutely love TJ and I'm excited about his potential on this team.
However, saying TJ over Myles is like saying Myles over Joe last year...

Based on what?? Dude is 6’6 250, he’s more mobile, can take a hit, he’s stronger, didn’t have to sit for 3 years and gain weight/muscle to see the field! And yes, Myles has a strong arm but Finley’s is just on another level! I know he didn’t throw the ball far down the field but on a few throws that he had to put something on it, u can see it just looked different!

Seriously? Not even close to the same argument..... Again, if TJ is throwing the ball just as good as Myles but is more gifted physically, how do you sit TJ??

TJ I would bet the house didn't have the full playbook.

Did LSU run as much for Miles in the 1st half of his games?

Not even close.

They were running Joes offense not the game plan we saw last night.

Dude he has no accuracy outside of 20 yards.

Why the frick do you think he’s throwing the ball just as good as Myles? You’re blind. Even some of his short throws were thrown way behind.

His pocket presence is better, but he had a running game to take pressure off. frick man you guys are such idiots

As much as I liked TJ winning, I would have to default to something TBob said last night.

That with Myles we are 60/40 pass, with TJ we were the opposite. His point was with Myles we are running more of the offense. Regardless we have TJ for Auburn.

TJ Finley played great last night and I love having him as a backup but has Myles Brennan done to be replaced? nothing absolutely nothing he has played great I guess the 11 TDS to three interceptions doesn't count for s***

He averaged 3 yards per carry. We haven't seen Myles carry the ball enough to get a true comparison.

Myles has took a ton of hits.

Having Ed Ingram back at LG made the difference in our running game and that’s what allowed our offense to get going. Ingram is the best OL on the team and a stud run blocker. If we couldn’t run the ball last night I don’t think TJ could’ve done what Myles did be Mizzou.

TJ threw for 250 yards and 51 of those came on Marshall’s TD that was a 4 yard slant and the Cocks DBs looked like they didn’t want to tackle. Myles has been throwing for 300+ in his games without a running game at all vs Missouri. TJ looked really good but Myles is LSU’s starter when healthy

It was his very first college game and looked pretty damn good, he made a lot of good throws last night and he didn’t have nearly as much time to work with the receivers as what Myles did!

Who cares which playbook we did or didn’t use? We scored a ton of points and won the damn game.

Myles, with the “full playbook” managed a whopping 27 points in his first start. And an L

Biggest difference is that TJ is more decisive. No sacks. And he wasn’t just throwing quick passes, he threw deep, too, and didn’t hold on to the ball too long. Offense had better “flow”. Stats aren’t everything.
