Dude they are kids relax. You obviously have something against Max. I wish them both success and both are going to end up playing. How about we wait to see how they do before casting one off into the depths of hell?

Don’t understand this. Johnson seems like the best playmaker

You assuming that Johnson is the best playmaker doesn’t make that a fact. The coaches seem to believe TJ is the one who is best prepared to start.

In an earlier comment I said Finley could be our Cam Newton and I got all downvotes. Now we shall see.

That’s really worked out for us on the defense and running game thus far

More than neither are ready and coaches are letting Finley be the sacrificial lamb. No reason to throw Johnson to the wolves and destroy his confidence in a lost season.

Can we get some opinions as to whether TJ is at least as mobile as Brennan?

He’s more mobile than Brennan. His HS 40 time is not comparable to where he’s at now. He dropped a ton of weight and is more athletic.

Big mistake. JOHNSON BY FAR IS THE BETTER QB

Something against Max? Where in the hell do you come up with that? I have something against fans who vilify players and eliminate them from consideration for starting based on their own personal biases.

Cast someone to the depths of hell? WTF are you even talking about? That was what happened to Finley. Where were you then?

From the very beginning Finley was vilified on this site. He was supposed to have an attitude problem, selfish, highly inaccurate even when his accuracy was higher than Johnson's as juniors, he was not SEC quality and would never start at LSU, he was too tall, he was too heavy, he lacked intelligence, too slow, he couldn't be as good as Johnson because Johnson's father was an NFL QB and his uncle is Mark Ritch, etc, etc.

That may be true, but this offense obviously does better with a legit threat to run, Johnson gives that more than Finley

Surprised at this decision. Really thought Johnson would get the knod!

My expectation is he’ll be akin to a hypothetical child from cam Newton and cardell Jones.

In other words championship baws.

This is really what you think? Not that the coaches might just think TJ gives them the best chance to win the game this week?

I don't care who starts. I hope they play well enough so that we have a chance to win the game.

All aboard the Finley pain train. May this man take over like Cam Newton

He’s NOTHING like Cam. Stop it. Max will take over in the 2nd half and run and gun USCe to death.

We don’t have the Oline to protect
