Since it seems almost everyone seems to be quick to blame our hitting today, I want to go ahead and tip my cap to Tyler. Dude can flat out pitch, he's throw damn near 400 (if not more) since last Friday. Credit to him for having a great outing today

You stated he was the single best pitcher we have faced this entire season. Please, when you're running to other threads to passively dismiss posters, tell them what you really think.

Wouldn't go that far, but the list of those in front of him wouldn't be terribly long I'd think

Was fully prepared to until his post game drama queen antics! Cmon seriously falling down in the mound like he was too exhausted to stand…give me a break! Had that ball been fouled out of play he would have stood up and threw another pitch! #attentionwhore

you do realize it was him breaking it down last night during the delay right? I knew he was an attention whore, but that doesn't change the fact that he can flat out throw the baseball

Yeah. Lost a lot of respect for him by the way he whined about not getting calls and started rolling on the ground in postgame.

And redfish, he isn't close to being the best pitcher we've faced all year. Let's not get over-dramatic just because our hitting has been slumping recently (Rhymes and Katz especially).

While it might be a gutsy performance.....that kid doesn't deserver to be on the field with an SEC team much less the SEC champions....there is a reason he plays for SUNY at SB.

And a reason he was drafted after about 20 SEC pitchers....

I should said best performance I've seen against us. Anyway you slice it we've not been three hit at home that I can recall in quite a while.Stratton from MS I think gave up more hits while striking out 17.

I usually stay off of this place, but man have any of you played anything but high school baseball? shite happens, guys throw the game of their lives sometimes.... dude pitched a hell of a game today, can't always blame hitting...... Its the game of baseball, its the reason a team like Fresno won the title. Its the reason why i played in college. Was i the best? No. But, I made some pitchers who were supposed to blow me away break their neck by watching the ball fly out of the park.... Its just the nature of the game, but i guess thats just to much for some people to realize.

I disagree. The kid has heart the size of Texas, no doubt about that, but he wasn't tearing up the strike zone today. He was behind the count more often than not. LSU simply struggled at the plate.

The Tigers swung at a lot of pitches they shouldn't have and watched a lot of strikes go by with the bat on their shoulders.
