Don't be shy 55555 - tell us how you really feel.

If you read all the other threads you'd know...

JJ is a fine athlete, but he isnt a QB he is a kid that can throw a ball really hard and is 6'5 220lbs.. That doesnt make you a QB it makes you kid that can throw...Those intangibles everyone talks about are not learned..(Ex..Pocket awareness, feeling pressure, making reads fast, anticipation) Those are intelligences that this young man doesnt have, I believe he never will... Not in his makeup...It is called Interpersonal Intelligence...(coming from me) (I am a social scientist) Now, granted the play calling is predictable and that allows defenses to do many things against us...Causing all kinds of problems, this inlined with a yound inexperienced QB has made things extremely hard to be successfull..Which defenses have been successful against us...I hope JJ comes through, but most people with interpersonal intelligence (peopel skills) know that he wont.. I question Miles interpersonal intelligence skills as well, always have...at some point luck runs out.. I think he gets lucky..I think lee has these intangebles...as well as shep...but I cant be proven right unless they play, that wont happen b/c miles will not give his critics a chance to prove him wrong he will stay with JJ till the end and keep being predictable and possibly go 9-3 10-2 maybe and ride that pony all spring and summer...What the fans and People of LSU know is that we have as much Talent as Florida but are no where near there level of coaching...Thats how I really feel and I could go on and on...I like les, he is obviously a good coach i hope he succeeds because I want LSU to succeed...I hope JJ comes around but until he gets over himself he wont be any good...Lee was battered all last year and that young man had the guts to come back and compete...he also never avoided the media they way JJ did... (that told me everything!) That says alot to be about a young man and its also one of those intangebles as a quarterback.

One last thing, how is a quartback suppose to have confidence if the coaches wont show confidence in him...someone has to give, you know it wont be jj, so crowton and miles have to give in and take a chance to mix things up...its called balls, he use to have a steel pair...

There never was. It's a non-story.

I like to use Tony Pike as an example.

that is a bad example

Pike is a RS Senior that has been in their system since Fall 2004 but had little game experience, Lee is a RS SOPH that has been here since Fall 2007 and has a ton of game experience

Pike had a attitude problem, Lee has a great attitude

Pike is a bona fide NFL caliber stud, Lee is still a major question mark

wow what a bunch of garbage this is

JJ just turned 19yr/old, has started 8 games with a record of 6-2

You say you are a scientist, yet you are here making absolute conclusions with very little of the data gathered.

Then you toss out this gem:
quote:

I think lee has these intangebles.

based on what? your scientific analysis of them from watching the games on TV? are some those intangibles you say Lee has but JJ doesn't have responsible for Lee relentlessly making the same mistakes in game after game? The mistakes that JJ has thus far shown a knack for avoiding?

you must be the worst "social scientist" in the world and my interpersonal intettligence analysis of you is you need to go back to school and start over in a new career that values your keen insight into the future and your amazing speculation skills

what is really funny is this:

quote:

LINK
Strengths: Understanding and Relating to Other People

Those who have strong interpersonal intelligence are good understanding and interacting with other people. These individuals are skilled at assessing the emotions, motivations, desires and intentions of those around them.

Characteristics of Interpersonal Intelligence

Good at communicating verbally
Skilled nonverbal communicators
See situations from different perspectives
Create positive relationships with others
Good at resolving conflict in groups

is the overly simplified definition of interpersonal intelligence. Miles and the senior leadership of the team have said repeatedly that JJ took ownership of the team and the QB position over the summer, he has shown real leadership skills for such a young guy, and his team mates respect him.

Last season Lee indeed faced the media every week but was clearly shell shocked and emotionally spent and the team needed the shot in the arm that JJ provided when Lee went out against Ole Miss.

I agree that it would shake things up. I just don't know if we have evidence to suggest that the shake up would be a good thing. But then, I'm just an average Joe fan with not much in the way of coaching skills.

JJ just turned 19yr/old, has started 8 games with a record of 6-2

"19 year old" excuse...stats say doesnt matter how old you are, if your good your good..

6-2 record with a great defense that has saved the day damn near everytime...Thank you Chavis!

quote:

your scientific analysis of them from watching the games on TV?

its called gathering information....Coaches do this with film as well...

quote:

The mistakes that JJ has thus far shown a knack for avoiding?

hence: play calling and 2 million people asking for Crowton's head...Protection for JJ that JL didnt have last year...

quote:

you must be the worst "social scientist" in the world and my interpersonal intettligence analysis of you is you need to go back to school and start over in a new career that values your keen insight into the future and your amazing speculation skills

I work for NASA, I screen astronaughts for space travel, I live on Clearlake in Houston, TX and I got my doctorate from Rice...I think i've done pretty well.

and your quote...or mine for say...I think lee has these intangebles...yeah he did have a poor year...But that kid chose not to hide from his problems and didnt make excuses...That shows evidence as being a strong person...

Well Mr. NASA your data set lacks the ample amount of relevant data for you to ascertain your conclusions. TYPE I ERROR

Because after a full season if J.LEE is 7-5 and Jordan is 9-3 or 10-2 you can't accept your hypothesis when in fact it's not true.
